Check the manufacturer resets before installing.

It does the Job!
There is nothing to dislike about it...As for the install, I watch videos on youtube, which took me step by step as how to do it...the old parts was 20 years old and a dealership wanted $1,400. dollars to do the job and I did for less then $50 bucks! Now the car cranks every time,,,

Great product, worked as expected. Went on as good as original at a portion of the factory part.
Had a parasitic battery loss issue which this took care of.

Couldn't plug in Shifting cable.
Was not a fit for 04 Impala LS. Shift cable did not fit. Put the old one back on and programed the new lock cylinder. Car turned over but won't start. Going to Autozone today for a new switch.So the lock cylinder worked fine but the switch wasn't a fit for my Impala. Should have bought them separately then I could have sent the switch back. I'm going to use the lock cylinder in the new switch I'm getting today so I'm stuck with the useless switch.
