These things are great without any single-use-plastic guilt
Wasn't sure I would like these, but they do the job well. The pick at the other end is better than any other flosser I've used. We have residential industrial-grade composting in our area, so I really appreciate that I can just toss them in the compost bin and I'm not contributing to more single-use plastic. I bought the flavored kind but the flavor is not strong at all, but that's not really important to me.

These break often. Don't buy.
As a mechanical engineer, it is clear whoever made these did not test them well. The design is such that they fatigue and break at two common points on their geometry. In general, I use anywhere from 2 to 2.5 pics to floss my entire mouth. Another failure mode is the floss actually breaking, perhaps every third flossing. My recommendation is to not bother with these at all. They do not function well as flossing pics.

Very slotty!!
Its a toothpick and floss in one. The print on it is supposed to evoke bamboo or something, i just think it looks cheap or poop spattered. I rated it hi because it is a tool that does its intended purpose. The hook is great for killing...the bacteria between your teeth and other things as well i would imagine. The string part fit between all crevices of my teeth and stood up to all 20 some slots. If there was a cleanliness option i would give it a zero, cause you are using the same string for all 20 slots, very slotty!!

Long time customer quit using this new formula
Changed my review from 5 star to 1 star.As all the other 1 star reviews suggest, their recent batches have been awful. They snap in several places and take 7 plackers to get your whole mouth versus just 1. My last purchase before this one, I’d have less than a handful break per box. Now I can’t get past one tooth without it breaking.I was a customer of this brand when they had their old boxes that were more biodegradable. For years, I’ve trusted this brand. Now, I will never purchase from them again.I hope this change was worth it, Bambo Earth.

Quality picks that don't end up in a landfill
I'm not particularly fond of this style of floss, but they are easy for the kids to use. I hated the idea of throwing away so much plastic, but was skeptical of something that claimed to be compostable.I'm writing this review because I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and durability. The floss stays taunt; the pick stays rigid and pointy; and apparently the whole thing can break down in the compost pile (although I haven't tested that part yet). The kids like them and I won't feel guilty buying them again.

Used to be great… lately they are AWFUL
The media could not be loaded. We first started buying these in 2022 and they’ve been perfect for my husband to use at home… until our last order came and we found the quality has gone completely downhill. The picks break with barely any pressure at all, making them completely unusable. They feel lighter weight than the previous construction and up close they obviously look it too. The packaging changed from Kraft paper cardstock to a more commercial printing but the print on all of the packaging is the exact same, leading you to believe the printing original construction formula is the exact same, but it’s clearly not. It looks like a lot of other purchasers have dealt with the same quality control issues recently, so I really hope the company goes back to their original formula.

Less plastic; more functionality
This is almost exactly what I was looking for. I will explain the "almost" in a minute. These are good floss picks. I can reach my rear teeth without trouble, which isn't something I can say about other brands. This handle is good and long, and the last two brands I've used were so short that I had to put most of my hand in my mouth. The thread is also good. After several months of use, it has never broken when I used it. It slides easily between my teeth and I can see all the gunk it gets out.The most important part is the biodegrading nature of the product. These are non-plastic picks that came in paperboxes. The last couple brands were made of plastic and contained in plastic. Floss twice a day leads to a lot of plastic waste. So the packaging and pick here significantly reduce my plastic waste. However, here comes the "almost".The question and answer section says that the thread is UHMWPE, a type of Polyethylene plastic. I looked it up and I found that Polyethylene CAN biodegrade in certain circumstances. So it is not entirely inaccurate to say that the thread is biodegradable, but is a little misleading. It is like scoring a 95% instead of 100; the score is very good, but still not perfect.
