This VDL expert color primer for eyes is a shimmery golden eye primer that adds a nice starter base for eyeshadow. It even looks good all by itself before you even add eyeshadow over it. It has a decent hold and improves the shine of eyeshadow.

This color primer I will buy again.

I have this primer in 2 colors. Both are great to wear alone or under another shadow. I bought the pink and now have the shimmer which is a light Carmel color. The shimmer has become my favorite. It applies wet and drys quickly. You do not need to apply very much for a nice finish to your eyes.

Maybe I am doing something wrong but this was awful. Very difficult to spread, it sat in globs on my eyelids. Every crease showed and I spread it thinly. I threw it away after one try.

Works great!! Shadow and liner stays on all day

I’ve been using this primer for a couple of weeks now, and it works for everyday wear. The formula is lightweight and applies smoothly. It makes shimmer shades pop without needing to pack on the color with a finger.In terms of longevity, it did make my eyeshadow last throughout the workday. Of course, after a few hours, I noticed some creasing and fading. It extends wear but isn’t a bulletproof formula you would wear on a sweaty day when you really need your makeup to last. The tradeoff is that the formula is much more comfortable than primers that fall into the super long wear category.Overall, it's decent but not a game-changer for me. I'll continue to use it for the everyday wash-of-color for work.

I like this primer it helps when you put on your eye shadow from creasing. Love it and shipping was great.
