A pro lens for all the right reasons.
The tack sharpness, the ease of focus, the clarity of the images . . . There's reason why this is a pro favorite. It is definitely a keeper. There is just one thing -- it is heavy, a tripod lens... It is constructed like a tank. I wouldn't change anything about it! Wayne

Shooketh
I only just got this today so I'll update this review later when I've used it more. But Oh. My. Goodness. This lens came in looking brand spankin new! Yes, it's heavy. I knew that before ever even looking at it. I used a monopod with it at an indoor soccer game and it wasn't heavy anymore lol. I don't know that I'd walk around on a hike toting it along but I got it mostly for soccer pictures and portraits. So, the weight isn't an issue for me. I have been wanting one of these for way too long and finally bit the bullet and got it. I have no regrets and so far am thoroughly pleased with the use of it. I know less than a day isn't long enough to leave a quality review but so far so good and I'm still kind of shook at how new it appears. Literally not a single cosmetic blemish. Would absolutely buy (from this seller) again!

Incredible
Ordered a renewed "excellent" condition and so far so good. had 3 very very small blemishes on the body, if I did not inspect upon arrival I would've missed em, otherwise looks and acts like new and came with nikon box and carrying case.

This LENS!!!! 😳😱🥹😍
I bought the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II (Renewed) for $1,150 for my Nikon D850, and while it was a big purchase, it's been worth it so far. It arrived quickly. There are no scratches or dings on the lens. This lens has become my go-to for sports, portraits, wildlife, and indoor shoots. I mainly shoot events and portraits, and tomorrow night I'll be putting it to the test at a formal event in low light. Based on research, f/3.5 is the sweet spot for portraits with this lens, we will find out tomorrow. I’m hoping I won’t need to use a flash.I’ll update with some shots and my settings after the event.

Nikon’s classic beast
This lens offers the best Nikon has to offer. It’s easily the most versatile lens out there, with enough reach for events, a wide aperture for low light, and a minimum zoom of 70mm, which is perfect for portraits on location or in the studio. The autofocus is the fastest of any lens I own, and is spot on. This lens’ reputation is well deserved!
