Easy Assembly
I purchased this item because it was priced right! I only really needed the drain stopper, but figured I'd buy the whole kit just in case I needed the additional parts. Turns out, I DID need the additional parts. So, I decided to install all of it. The installation was VERY easy. Plus, the quality of the parts were very good. It seals well and operates smoothly. As a matter of fact, my sinks operates better than it has in 10 yrs.

Product works as advertised, but...
I was disappointed when I read the instructions for installing the drain flange. It states to "Use the included flange gasket or apply the plumber's putty..." Problem is there is no flange gasket included in the kit, nor is there any plumber's putty. Fortunately for me I had plumber's putty, so I got through this part easily. The only other thing is that the stopper is sized small to fit down into the drain, and is fitted with an O-Ring that seats a quarter inch down, instead of what I'm used to...a tapered gasket that seats on the top of the drain. So, they needed to provide higher lift in the ball mechanism using longer leverage from the pin. It seems to work fine, but I'm concerned that it will be harder to clean the trap without taking everything apart underneath the sink. I don't know if the stopper will pull out otherwise.

low cost installation/replacement
Most plumbers might frown on plastic construction versus metal/ brass but for the cost of the pf waterworks , the quality of the plastic material works fine. Instruction printed on the packaging is good , correctly mentions the orientation of the ball joint seal. A bit of effort needed to correctly get the threaded ball joint rod retainer nut on without cross threading it after installation. No leaks after installation. Easy install if you have some experience. Measure existing assembly for proper fit. This item replaced a rusty chrome plated metal sink throat.

Doesn’t fit if you have old appliances
Install was quick and easy, but as soon as you tighten it it angles from the sink, making it hard to connect it to the drain. Leaks!!

Does the job, instructions could be better
The product itself is perfectly acceptable. It does the job it needs to do. As a person without experience replacing this, the provided instructions could have been more helpful, but I guess that's why we live in a world with YouTube.
