They worked great for what I was trying to do. I wish the blood had spilled out of my mouth more, but that's okay! The thing to be prepared for though is the taste! If you have a sensitive gag reflex, DO NOT buy these. I was in the middle of performing and nearly threw up because the taste was so bad!!

Great! There is lots of blood in these little things, and unlike other capsules I have tried, once you bite into it,the capsule doesn't separate like a typical capsule pill, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of two floating plastics in your mouth. The blood flows thick and there is lots of it! The reason I gave four instead of five stars is merely for the color. It does look a little too bright for real convincing blood, more like that look aid another person complained about. Absolutely right. It also does taste pretty bad, like bad licorice. But I don't need very convincing blood color in the theater lighting I will be using, so that won't bother me. Itay bother someone else.

They worked great and obviously take precautions if you don't want to stain anything.

Not convincing blood at all. It was the wrong color, and looked VERY unrealistic. Plus it STAINED everything it came in contact with, including my skin. Wouldn't reccomend to anyone, even if you're not looking for realism.

I bought this item to use for a murder mystery theatre production. The color of the “blood” was was too bright red and the consistency wasn’t good. The taste was majorly disgusting and made me gag - was difficult to get the taste out of my mouth as well. Buyer beware!

I bought these to play a trick on my husband on Halloween... so I did a test run while he was outside in the barn.. it taste HORRIBLE and made me gag so much that threw up..that ruined my whole plan of pretending to be dead on the floor.... but it looks really good!! If you can stomach the taste (tasted like dead animal blood... not that I've had dead animal blood.. but I imagine that's how it would taste).. then this would work for you! :)
