I recently tried the POLLY PLUM Comforting Body Cream from Pai Skincare London, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I love this because a little goes a really long way and it feels so good and hydrating i really like this product but it is a lot of money but you do get a lot

Post-menopausally I've been experiencing a few areas of dry skin on my body. I'd never had any similar issues previously but it makes me wary of body lotions and the like as the last thing I want to do is to inadvertently make matters worse.I've tried a couple of Pai products before and been impressed so I was very pleased to be able to try this Polly Plum Comforting Body Cream for Very Dry & Sensitive Skin. This is a fairly thick emollient that's really hydrating and nourishing for dry skin and fine to apply to the small areas of eczema I have without feeling greasy or unpleasant. It absorbs well.What I feel using Pai's UK-made body cream is totally confident, confident that it won't make my skin itch or exacerbate any eczema as it's free from parabens, silicones, alcohol and other common irritants. I also feel it's helping to improve the condition of my skin Allantoin, an anti-inflammatory extracted from Comfrey.Natural, vegan and cruelty-free as well as Soil Association certified organic, Polly Plum is packed with moisturising oils and has left my skin feeling soft and more healthy. Pai is a certified B-Corp business too which is all about using business as a force for good.This is a high quality body cream from Pai that I'm very much enjoying using. The 200ml tube arrives boxed and would be perfect for gifting. Not cheap - but in my view it's definitely worth the money. Without hesitation, I'd get this again and would recommend to those with dry, sensitive skin.

As with many body creams and moisturisers the manufacturers claim this Pai POLLY PLUM Comforting Body Cream is made with plant oils and extracts but for once it smells and feels like it really is. This has a very authentic feel and aroma, not highly perfumed but with a faintly floral botanical fragrance and a rich texture. It's oil-based so might not suit everyone but if you've got dry skin it will drink it in and feel the better for it.On the body it gets absorbed well and leaves the skin feeling immediately smoother and hydrated and you still feel like that at the end of the day, so the protection lasts. If you use it as a hand cream it's a bit too oily for me and you leave finger-marks on smooth surfaces for quite a while before it gets absorbed. It's not the cheapest but it's got the quality I'd expect at this price point and it seems to live up to its impressive list of ingredients.

Packaging is lovely. Makes it seem like quite a decadent product, which at 24.99 for body moisturiser...it is!The box opens out with all the info you want on it. But once you've discarded the box, the tube itself tells you very little.I was excited that this was going to smell like plums....it doesn't. Barely has any scent at all to be honest. Which I get for sensitive skin is a plus not to have any perfume in is a good thing. But I found it a little disappointing that it doesn't really have any scent at all.I have extremely dry skin, to the point that sometimes it cracks and bleeds. This didn't irritate it at all. Moisturised it, soothed it, but wasn't as long lasting as I'd hoped. But then nothing is for me.It's a nice gift, looks nice, doesn't irritate sore skin, just not as punchy a smell as I would have liked.
