A highly readable biography
A very well-researched biography where arguments and analyses are backed by data from multiple sources. The narrative makes use of extensive quotations from letters, books, and other written documents. The book is a serious attempt at addressing the themes, issues, and topics that are so crucial to gain a deeper understanding of the Indian subcontinent in the first half of the 20th century. A highly readable biography! There are spelling mistakes and typographical errors and infelicities in almost every page of the book, which hamper smooth reading. If these errors / mistakes are addressed before the book is reprinted, then it will surely help to enhance the reading experience.

Brilliant book by leading Jinnah watcher
I knew what to expect because of the extensive reviews the book has got. Having had long and deeply detailed discussions on Jinnah, the Muslim League while he led it, partition, the Indian freedom movement and aspects of Jinnah's personal life, I knew what to expect. However, it was not only of the same high quality as the discussions, it was written in pleasant, unobtrusive, highly readable prose.Very happy to have read this (several times now).

Something to read for those who like history. The book starts from Jinnah, his life, his achievements and his failures.Mostly on what he believed something different what everyone knows or understands about him. Jinnah A Disaster
This book is nothing but a futile exercise to prove that Jinnah was a secular and a champion of Hindu Muslim unity which he was not at all.Waste of time.
