Rubber mallet
Should give you a free hard hat with this the amount of times the head flies off the handle. Had to wrap the top of the handle in tape and whack the head back on. Improves it a lot by still flies off occasionally.

Poor Quality, Head came off on first day
Poor Quality. The head came un glued on the first day of use just tapping paving bricks down on a concrete mix

Lightweight? Amazon, please!
For the record this was bought as a heavyweight mallet. For those sort of jobs that seriously, absolutely need to be hammered hard.Never been disappointed with Draper tools and this continues with the mallet. Bought this to replace one from an unbranded supplier which gave up the ghost (head sheared off the handle) after a few uses. This has happily driven some pretty long garden stakes into thick, clay soil and then used to put some serious welly behind a chisel to break up pavers.Think in future I'll stick to proper brands like these, rather than go the cheap and awful route.
