GYMNIC Classic Plus Burst-Resistant Exercise Ball

Does exactly what I need for strength, flexibility and integration exercises. Physical therapist assures me that this brand does not fail catastrophically (as exercise bands and other products do), so should be quite safe to use.Not easy to inflate without a real air compressor. Tire pump works fine, but it would take about 15 minutes of hard work to get a fill - especially as the supplied nozzle adapter will not lock into a home or petrol-station air pump. I bought a $23 hand-held electric pump (Chamvis) advertised as good for exercise balls. It only got the 30" ball up to 28", even after a few days' use/stretching. But that's enough to do the job well. Highly recommended.UPDATE: after a few months (without re-inflation), the ball seemed softer, but had expanded to 29". Apparently, the polymer takes a while to relax. It then inflated to the rated 30" with the same pump. I'd add another star, but was already at five!

I have had a larger ball from this maker for several years. I use it for sitting and for some exercises, but since I’ve begun PT I needed one slightly smaller. I’ve been so pleased with the integrity of this that I chose Gymnic Classic Fitball again. It is exactly as I expected ~ excellent quality ~ perfect, sturdy and stable. As a side comment, I love that it is made in Italy

Ball is great as was the first gemnic ball I have had for over 30 yrs. Issue is ball does not come with pump. Like items that do not come with batteries, the ad should clearly offer a pump at an added cost or state that the product does not come with a pump.

Excellent quality. Easy to inflate. Works just as I had hoped. Tho it does lose air after three weeks of intermittent use.

Finally an exercise ball firm enough to use as a desk chair! It is not spongy. There is resistance. When you sit on it, it stays firm, rather than sending you half way to the floor. After purchasing several balls, my physical therapist recommended this company for quality. She pointed out you need this kind of quality for therapy work as well.

In October 2018 I bought this product for my husband (he is 165 lbs) and it had worked beautifully until April of this year when it burst. I ordered another on in April for him to use and this one lasted six weeks before bursting. I ordered one more the end of May and this one lasted two weeks before popping……this one bursted while he was out of town and not using it. I bought a 65 cm ball as well as a 55 cm in October 2018 and have not had any issue with those balls.

Easy to air up, use & deflate for storage. Used as a prenatal & labor / delivery aid. So much more comfortable than any chair towards the end of pregnancy.

i dont know whether inhaling vinyl plastic off-gassing is bad for you, but since i get really close to this ball doing various stretching and strengthening exercises, sometimes the smell is pretty strong- like white chocolate (if you are as unlucky as i was as a child to be allergic to real chocolate, you cant mistake that smell).the ball works as advertised, although after use it takes on a squashed, oval shape rather then a fully round shape.
