Well, I bought this for a vey congested cat who suffers from pollen during tree blooming seasons. I cannot easily get her to open her mouth, I'm afraid I'll break her jaw. For my cat, she's roughly 10 lbs or a little under. 2mg or half of one of these tablets would be a dose I've found recommended on websites. My vet wants me to buy some complicated device from Canada for nearly $300, and some medication to use in it that is only available from a small Pacific nation. Wha??? And, some amel something "anti depressant" commonly prescribed for humans. My cat is not depressed, she's congested from exposure to elm pollen. I think this medication could help her, if I can figure out how to get it to stay in. Believe me, I use the trigger thing, and get it in, but find the pill a little later on the couch, or floor. She will not be fooled by treats or food. So, it was a very reasonable price, and is effective for me during elm pollen season. I prefer to the popular antihistamines, because of the artificial flavor and color and preservatives which are not cat-friendly. I have to say the Major Brand had even less additives than the one I got from my supermarket pharmacy, which no longer carries it in the store. I was glad to see this available on Amazon. Very reasonable price, and good service.

My vet recommended this product for my cat seasonal allergies, but after a few doses, he refused to swallow it. I was even trying to be sneaky and crush it up into his food, but it was just a no-go after a while. I did notice reduction and symptoms rapidly when he was able to take it. The price point is so low, I'm sure we will keep it around and continue to figure out creative ways to give it to our cat.

I use this med for awhile now, but usually bought them from Wal****. When last time I bought them from Amazon, I did not even read the review because I know it works well for me. Today have nothing to do so I scrolled through some reviews and OMG, at first, I was scare the heck out when see people use this med for their pets. I thought I bought the wrong med, I have been using animals medication all along? Then I calm down and think, I'm still alive alright. Then why not? I have use many different OTC allergy meds before, even some prescription kinds, all of them seem to work for a couple months then loose their effects on me. They stop reducing allergy symptoms for me entirely. Thanks my aunt who suggested this med for me. In my personal experience with allergy meds, this is the best among them so far, it works five minutes after I take them and does not loose their effectiveness on me after a year of using them regularly. So I don't care if it is for pets or human, I'll take them as long as they works well for me.
