Just exactly as expected
I ordered the 15 x 15 foot liner, 45 ml thick. It arrived on time, the packaging was sturdy though heavy (72 lbs). As suggested in other reviews, I left it in sun to make it more pliable. The thickness was perfect though I did use some scraps under any heavy or potentially sharp rocks as extra protection. At the time , I could only order a 15 x 15 piece. I really needed a 15 x 20 but used some leftover liner from another project to get what I needed. As suggested by others, I did contact local roofing suppliers but the best they could do was 6 ft wide in any length, not what I needed. If anyone is building a water feature, definitely go with rubber, not vinyl. Very strong and easy to shape to whatever you need. Waterfall and pond look great (if I may brag a bit).

Great Flexible Pond Liner
Great Pond liner! Very flexible, yet thick. Easy to deploy, but heavy to get into the space, but once in place very secure.

CAUTION!!!!
CAUTION!!! We built out Koi pond over 7 years ago and until recently had 13 fish. Our liner of said years somehow began to leak so after searching for a new one I found this. While I agree that it is very flexible and easy to work with---IT KILLED MY FISH!! Product description says "Plant and fish friendly" but obviously it was not. As stated had my fish for more than seven years without a problem and less than 24 hours in this liner--they were dead. I am sure it was a mis-packaging problem since not all pond liners are fish/plant friendly--but this was a very sad result of the wrong product being sent out. Am contacting the manufacturer to share the concern that the product is not what is described. But my utmost respect for Amazon standing behind what they sell- Customer Service was fantastic and I will certainly not blame them for the mishap.

Dont want to dig it up on 2 years because of leaks, then buy this. Been using for customers fpr years and never had a leak.
When you don't want to have to dig it up on a few years to fix the leak, only firestone will do.Don't cheap out and get some off brand thin budget liner. Your just going to have to dig it all up and put a new liner in a few years if you do. I certainly don't want to send my crews back to take apart a $8000 waterfall I just designed and built. I use Firestone 45mil Rubber liners only and have never had a leak. I know they recommend using an underlayer for most pond liners, but these are so good, I have never needed to.Some quick tips on installation. Order your liner at least 5 feet wider and longer than you need.We never suggest taping liners together. Don't try and save money by ordering smaller pieces. Don't skimp on the prep work. Clear your area of all debris, no rocks, sticks, pipes, or anything else should be in work area. We bring in several inches of sand spread evenly before installing liner. You will not want to stretch the liner when installing. Match the center of the pond with the center of the liner and loosely lay it out. Do not walk on this with your shoes. Do not walk in this with your shoes. If you have someone helping you, keep repeating that to them. I like to let it sit in the sun and warm up if I can. Gently walk or crawl (I crawl) around liner starting in center and work liner into formation, contouring to the shape of the pond. You will have at least 2.5 feet of liner left over on all sides. Use your flagstone, rocks, block, whatever your are forming it out of to hold down the liner. Do not use anything that will puncture through the liner as a way to fasten it, like stakes or something. When installing your plants, be careful of bamboos and other plants with fast growing roots. No matter how well you install your liner how thick it is, if you plant a bamboo anywhere near it, you will have a leak within 2 years. This is promise!!

ONE solid piece; No Seams, This is the ONE you want!!
This is the liner you want, No other liner, hard or flexible can outperform this one , unless you find a 60 mil,Firestone EDPM liner. This is the stuff they make gaskets out of!For Best results use old carpeting as a liner protectant. As long as it,s made from synthetics, not natural fiber, it will last 30 years or more. Carpet, will provide superior protection (by nature of it's bulk). Unmatched by liners that sell for more $than the liner!

Buy this stuff for your waterfall
I have fought with this home-made waterfall and pond for years; water always found a way to leach out (sharp rocks, shifting rocks...). This battle is done and this stuff did the trick! It is seemingly invincible! I don't have to constantly fill the pond any longer and the dogs and children are knocking around all the sharp rocks they want!! We will use this for other projects like this!!

Firestone EPDM is the absolute best liner for koi ponds - 10 years and counting!
We put in our koi ponds around 10 years ago. Due to overzealous dogs and teenagers, we had to replace the pond liner in our upper smaller pond - again. (Never again though, the stone has been returned to line the pond from paws with toenails and the overzealous teen has flown the coop.) While reconstructing the upper pond we reshaped a section of the lower pond - with the 10 year old liner. I am amazed at how flexible the liner has remained despite the harsh midwest summers combined with the winter blasts. A small tear in the old liner was readily repaired with pond liner tape (use on BOTH sides for best results.)I highly recommend, we would definitely use Firestone or Anjon EPDM liners in the future.
