Great Pad for such a reasonable price.
I purchased this pad for used with a Dutch Army Hooped Bivy, as I needed something that provides ample insulation and support without being overly thick and taking up too much space inside the bivy sack. This Gear Doctors self inflating pad was the perfect solution. It’s very comfortable, inflates quickly, easily and is relatively compact when rolled up in its storage sack. I did follow the “first inflation” instructions which are simple but helpful. And having used the pad on an overnight camp, I am extremely impressed with its quality and performance. This was definitely a good purchase. Highly recommend!

Great Sleeping Pad on a Budget
I purchased this sleeping pad back in 2022 and have now used it on many camping trips across all seasons. It is a great piece of gear, and has been durable as well as comfortable. Takes a few minutes to inflate but I set up other stuff around camp while it's filling. You can top off with a few breaths if you want firmer sleep. Packing is also simple. My most recent trip was car camping, and the tent site was quite rocky. The Gear Doctor pad really helped sitting on tent floor and tarp. Plus, it was unseasonably chilly and the pad kept me nice and warm under my sleeping bag. I am 6 ft, 180lbs, and it's plenty big. I tend to leave it slightly under inflated so it won't slide and is a bit more comfortable. It's been stomped on, tossed around, stuff dropped on it, and never any issues. It's extremely light, but a little bulky for REALLY ultra-light backpacking. Takes up a decent portion of my 40 liter pack. That said, it works great and beats sleeping on the ground or the thin "yoga mat" style pads.I've been very happy with the Gear Doctors sleeping pad long-term and feel good knowing it has a lifetime warranty. If you're considering it, go for it.

Good Pad & a Pretty Good Deal
This pad is a thick, lighter & compact pad. It appears to be 3.25" thick, and I would assume that it achieves its high R-value of 5.2 for insulation. It is not very noisy when fully inflated and I move around on it (much less so that a Neo Air).It weighs in on my scale at 19oz, not 16. Which is only 1oz lighter than my standard Thermorest. It is very compact as it arrived, probably a half or a third the volume of my standard Thermorest (tho somewhat larger than some Klymit ultralight pads I have). This and its insulating value make it a prime candidate for shoulder season camping trips & all backpacking/bikepacking trips. It has great insulating & cushioning for a very reasonable amount of bulk. The funky air pillow blow up method can be skipped entirely. I blew up the pad thru the unclosed mouth, then when it was mostly filled closed the seal and continued to blow it up (against some resistance). Using the air pillow may keep moisture out of the bag, but adds another item to bring on a trip, and since it is unnecessary I'm not likely to use it.The offer on Amazon suggests their "lifetime warranty" is pretty generous. The warranty that arrives with the pad is much less so: "...warrantied for the life of the product against defects in materials & workmanship, Should the Air Mattress be found defective under this warranty, we will repair it or replace it at our cost. NORMAL WEAR, PUNCTURE, ABRASION, MISUSE, ALTERATION, ABUSE, OR TAKING APART THE PRODUCT IS NOT COVERED. " So it a warranty for an indefinite lifetime of the product only, and excludes the mostly likely causes of permanent failures. The pad came with what appeared to be two 2" square pieces of paper with repair kit instructions on them. I'm told that that IS the repair kit, and that I just need to press a patch over a puncture. However, I've been unable to separate the two layers if these are indeed patches. Better to use Tenacious Tape or something more professional if the pad does spring a leak. All in all, a compact & effective air mattress at a very fair price relative to competitors. And its not very noisy.

Surprisingly Great Quality For Price!
The media could not be loaded. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I couldn’t find any helpful videos or reviews on this product—and it impressed me so much I had to share. For just $30, this blow-up mat is an absolute steal. It comes with a foot pump that inflates the mat in about 2 minutes, which is super convenient.I’ve tried a few other inflatable mats on Amazon before, and this one is hands down the most comfortable and compact. When rolled up, it’s just a little bigger than a water bottle—perfect for saving space. The air retention is excellent thanks to the one-way valve, so you don’t have to worry about it deflating overnight. I weigh around 180 lbs and it held up perfectly through the night without losing any air.Setup is easy, comfort is solid, and the price is unbeatable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly sleeping pad.
