Likes: Light, portable, powerful. Generally a well-made, quality tool.Dislikes: The slotted screwdriver bit bent and twisted the very first time I tried to use it. And I wasn't hitting it hard. The other bits seem better - so far.I have heavier [3/6" and 1/2"] impact drivers. But they are too heavy and bulky to carry around, so the Teng set is ideal for work away from the workshop, and for lighter jobs. I'm aiming to replace the slotted bit with one from Wera or Stahlwille.

This tool was a great addition to my toolset. I recently acquired a replica 1873 Winchester rifle that gave me fits when trying to remove the fine slotted screws without damage. I actually applied so much torque to a stand driver that the tip of the screwdriver bit shattered. The bits supplied with this tool are not suitable for working on firearms but would be OK for general purpose work. This impact driver will work with any standard 1/4” drive bit. Using a quality hollow ground bit that fit the screw slot properly, this tool and a small hammer did the job with a few wacks. I am sure I will find other uses for this tool in the future.

Leider konnte ich nicht eine Schraube erfolgreich lösen. Die "Spange", -Arretierung der Kugel verschiebt sich durch die Hammerschläge. Die Kugel (Bithalterung) ist dadurch weggefallen und natürlich nicht mehr auffindbar. Die Bits fallen jetzt ständig aus der Halterung. Im Einsatz schaltet der Schrauber selbstständig von links- auf rechtslauf um. Man unterbricht dauernd die Arbeit, um die Stellung zu begutachten. Bestellt wurde der Schlagschrauber wegen der schmalen Ausführung, um Platz im Werkzeugkoffer zu sparen. Der Preis ist recht ordentlich. Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht teilen und Rate ab.

This tool is very useful for removing rusted, frozen,small screws. I used it on an 1871 Springfield whose screws were rusted and haven't been removed in 60 yrs. Soaked receiver in Kroil for 1week and after a few forceful taps with a hammer and this tool, the threads broke free and out came the undamaged screw. This tool was the last try before milling the heads off the screws. Also, no damage to the receiver. I used my own 1/4 drive bits as they were a closer fit to the frozen slotted screw heads.

Very tuff well built, perfect size to keep in ur tool belt without weighing u down due to a huge bulky cheap metal “frame” jus saying most cheaper impacts are huge and heavy while this smaller more normal screwdriver type feel has the same ability as the larger units . I even use it as a regular screwdriver/ bit holder in a pinch
