Awesome!
My house is 17 years old. My kitchen cabinets still look great, but the lower doors under the sink had several small nicks where the finish wore off. I ordered these wipes and can’t say enough good things. My lower doors look just as new as the upper cabinets. Very easy to use and hardly any odor.

Easy to use but incredibly messy; decent coverage
Bought these to refinish a similar-colored older but not fancy sofa-side table. Very easy to use right out of the package but quite messy. They come with gloves (a single one? a pair? I didn't unwrap them) but I used thicker disposable gloves we already had, one on each hand (and a new set for each layer of stain). You'll want the gloves. The stain starts getting on stuff (like the outside of the package) as you open the package. After the first swiping round, I kept a sandwich baggie handy so when I pulled one out to touch up small sections I could wrap that cloth back up for additional use later. The stain itself? Easy to wipe on. Seems to cover well - possibly too well (this may be the "too thick" comments others made). There seems to be plenty on the cloth at first but it transfers quickly. I found that folding the cloth back and forth got more even results. Dries very quickly, at least on the outside, so if you're going to go back and even it out don't wait more than a minute or two.Suggestions for improvements to the product and its packaging:Make it a little easier to open the package one-handed. Make it easier to grab the edge of each cloth without needing to stick your fingers all the way in. Have the opening closer to the top or bottom or an edge so it's easier to just pull a corner out for small touch-ups.

Great for Makers
I used these wipes to stain and finish my mobile pieces. The ship's wheel piece is the main part thay was stained, but all pieces were stained in order to make the gold paints over the portholes pop more.I really liked this product and was very confused to read the negative reviews. Here's a few clarifying points:•When reviewers say "good for small projects," that's rather subjective. It would have been very silly for me to buy a whole can of stain for an 11" x 14" mobile, but these wipes worked great. Would I use these to finish an end table like the lady in the video did? No, just get a sample can of stain and call it a day.•Your first pass with the wipe does go on rather thick. The way I found that worked best was to thoroughly wipe down one side of my project, flip it to wipe down the other (non-visible in the finished product) side, and then go back over the front with the stain wipe to smooth out any drips/concentrated areas. 1 minute or so later, wipe off the excess with a towel. Worked great.•Not sure who I need to say this for, but you still need to sand after you stain. I also finished my pieces with clear acrylic paint and then sanded that, and the end result was nice and smooth - almost soft.Definitely use this for small or flat projects. If your finished piece is bigger than a microwave, just get the can of stain and a brush.

It's more work then you think
I am a professional refinisher for 30 years. I bought this to do a wood top I made and just needed a one time use, not a can to sit around and go bad not using what's left. That said, this product is too thick, and dries too fast. After you apply it, you have to wipe off excess. The top is only 16 inch by 28 inch. I did half at a time. It only takes seconds to wipe it on the half, but by the time I go to wipe off excess, it's already dry. Covering up the wood grain. I had to use a rag soaked in alcohol to wipe off excess and expose the grain. Regulat alcohol will work, denatured alcohol is better. Acetone will also work. A regular person won't know how to compensate for the extra thick, super fast drying problem like I do.I suggest doing a 6x6 inch spot at a time, and quickly wipe away excess. When you've done the whole thing, go back with rag soaked in alcohol and wipe the whole thing again, blending in the area's of overlap. It can come out a little blotchy even with these steps. Use sanding sealer prior to stain to get more even absorption.Stain should be very runny like water. This is too thick. Maybe past it's shelf life.

Amazing!!
The media could not be loaded. I had two 46 year old mirrors that I was going to paint the frames. I stumbled onto these cloths and thought I may as well try them. I did a light sanding and dusted them off, then used one wipe for each frame. The wipes themselves are messy in the package and I used my own gloves, but the consistency is thick and doesn't drip at all. They applied so perfectly, easily, and I didn't even tape the mirror. Nothing dripped at all! One coat and they are perfect. They look brand new and I love them. The stain didn't smell at all and was totally dry within an hour. I highly recommend these!.
