Great so far
This 67mm lens cap fits really well on my Tamron lens. I love the fact that the string is tethered to the cap which makes the bond strong and it doesn't wear-off like in case of adhesive. The elastic that goes over the lens is also decent. It also comes with the small tool to help you thread the string to the cap.The lens is solid plastic material and feels good to touch. Great product overall.

Generic lens covers
They seem to work well in the house etc. Bought them so when we are hiking, we don’t lose the lens cover cap as we recently did with one that was unattached. Thank goodness someone saw it and assumed It was ours.

Way it fits tighter
Very happy with lens cover, fits better than original. Best thing I don’t have to worry about loosing the cover where it’s attach to the lens. Great fit.

Good lens cap, not perfect!
I was on the verge of losing the lens cap to my telephoto lens a number of times on our last overseas vacation. I got these for "insurance" the next time I use that lens. While they do come with a tether (to attach to the lens), I personally do not using a tether. I am uncomfortable shooting when something is hanging from the end of my lens; that said, I do not use the tether.Anyway, the lens caps are good, but they have a bit of a "loose" fit. I feel as if they could break free without a lot of resistance. While they are good and the value is good, the fit makes me a little nervous.

Worth the $$$
I just got back into photography recently and am gathering the accessories I know I'll need. One of which is an additional lens cap. If you've ever been in the woods and lost one you know how much extra careful you must be with your lens. I was going for a Nikon cap just cause but then saw these. For about half the price I got 2 caps AND they can be tethered to the camera....BONUS! Now I have extra in my bag for the off chance that I actually loose the one I'm using so I can replace it with another tethered cap!I expected a lesser quality cap, cheap plastic, easy to break but these feel as good or (I think) better than OEM. You can't go wrong with these

The string cord and the cap do not come attached.
The cap once assembled works great. But there are no instructions on how to attach cord and no tool to help do it.Had to go online to see video on Amazon, and to my sewing basket to get a needle threader in order to attach cord to cap.

Too slick to grip with fingers; elastic loop too large
The finger grips on the lens caps are quite slick, which means that my fingers slip off the grips when trying to attach or remove the cap. It takes many attempts to get the cap to stay in place, which means that the filter gets scratched by the lens cap.Also, the elastic on the keepers is too large for my lenses. Of course, it might fit a fatter lens — but then the 46mm lens cap would not fit! The size of the elastic loop either needs to be adjustable, or the loops needs to be of a size compatible with the size of the lens cap.
