10 Inch Bread Knife Serrated Knife Wave Edge, Black

I needed a knife to cut rockwool insulation and many people recommended a bread knife. Working with rockwool feels very similar to angel food cake........seriously! It is soft and spongy with a bit of a crust on one side. It tears and smashes easily and cuts much easier than bread. The 10" length of the knife is great for cutting the large sheets that are 3+ inches thick. The handle and blade are finished nicely with a satin finish on the blade. It looks like a wood handle and is very comfortable to hold onto. I held it for a couple days of insulation work, so itos certainly nice enough to hold for a loaf or two of bread. The logo is simple and attractive. I bought this one because I didn't want to ruin the one in the kitchen or my camping trailer. This one is 20 times nicer than those and still feels sharp. The thick and sturdy blade worked great to wedge between peices to position them and it would probably be great as a spatula too if you were to cut and serve something like cake. I don't know whether to keep it with my nice tools or to wash it and put it in the kitchen!

Great knife, It is my new “ go to “. Very pleased with the quality of the blade and the strength of the tang into the handle. Extremely sharp and comfortable with good balance and grip. Just a sharp extension of my hand.

This knife is nearly perfect and for the price it’s an easy choice.The angle bevel is ground on both sides.The serration is cut well on mine and is very sharp but is designed a little bit to thick which gives the knife just the tiniest tendency to deflect to the right when cutting due to the one sided serration bevel. This can be easily compensated for with experience cutting.The blade is very straight with only a slight curve near the tip which works well for me.The handle is fine, looks nearly identical to the Wusthof knife’s handles it sits next to.Cuts crunchy thick crust sourdough very well for me!

It really is a sturdy good quality knife I just wish it was a little sharper. I have a hard time cutting my sourdough. But other breads it works good. It’s heavy duty and hard weight to it, it doesn’t feel cheap.

Really good quality, to be honest at this price I didn't expect it to be quite this good. Definitely recommend it.When it comes to serrated knives like a bread knife, they're very hard to properly sharpen, so you use it for a few years, then it's practical to toss it, and simply buy another. (Not so with my Global knives.) So this knife worked out great.

Especially for cutting hard crust bread like my baguettes that I coat and bake for flavored "Baguette Chips". Big hit with my family and many friends. They keep asking for more and my 10 old bread was dull at last. Got another and have been buying more baguettes at our local store.Great for cutting sandwiches also, it doesn't drag out the ingredients like some knives. We bought one for our son for this Christmas. I have TWO in our kitchen drawer, my first one was all used up after many years of use.GIT ONE!!!

Sharp, ergonomic and easy to clean. This is a bargain and worth the money.
