Fix your JBL flip 3, don't throw it out!
If you have an old JBL flip 3 that won't work or hold charge, this fixes that. It's an easy fix too.

The battery does not fit
This battery does not fit JBL Flip 3. The wires should come out of in the middle of the battery, instead of at the edge. Otherwise you need to bend the wires and then the wires is going to occupy some room so that the battery can’t fit in.See the picture. The hole is in the middle. So you really need the wires also align with the position of the hole.

Didn't go far in my JBL speaker
Unfortunately, the old battery in my JBL portable speaker was swollen, against a thin electrical ribbon wiring, and completely stuck. After carefully enlarging the minute hole were the ribbon goes through, - to relieve pressure against it from the old battery-, with the aid of hooks and more than 30 minutes of effort, the battery was finally removed in pieces. The replacement battery works fine, but the electrical ribbon was likely damaged by the operation, rendering the speaker almost useless. Not even a full reset helps.Before you place an order, fully check if the original battery can be easily pulled out. Otherwise, it'll turn into wasted time and resources.I'm giving it a 5 star rating, since the battery works as expected.

As advertised
The battery comes fully charged. It's identical to the battery that it replaced. It's pretty straight forward on how to replace it but I must say if you have no mechanical abilities do not attempt this although it's not hard a little patient is required. I also recommend a good screwdriver even though it's not necessary. great product
