Worth it
This light weight compact generator is a rock star! At 500 hrs, I’ve been using it to charge my Bluetti power station, run an induction cook top, an oil filled radiant heater, toaster oven, and a DC power supply. Most of which can exceed the output power available. So at reduced settings, except the 1800w toaster over. That I had to plug into Bluetti and DC charge Bluetti. It’s plenty enough power to cook with, heater at medium 900w or low 600w, low charge Bluetti at 270w AC. I’m able to charge at 680w utilizing the dc power supply to simulate solar in combination with the low AC charge. It sips fuel. Starts easily and oil changes are a breeze. It’s not the most feature rich product available, but simple tends to stand the test of time better in my book. Most importantly, it’s as quiet as they come. Nobody, including me, likes to listen to a generator. They tend to draw unwanted attention from others. I use it daily and discreetly. When properly placed, at 100’ of cord away, I can barely even hear it. Just enough to know it’s running.I had to pry my wallet open a bit to avoid the many inferior options available for much less. Zero regrets, I would be running into noise issues constantly and ruining my mostly stealthy operation with lesser brands. I recently saw a 2200w Honda and it was much larger and heavier than its little brother. So if 900w continuous is enough for you, buy it. I’m glad I did..

Saved the weekend!
Two years ago I purchased this Honda generator. It sat unused in my garage since I bought it. The latest hurricane effected a major swath from Florida to Ohio. We experienced 7 inches of rain, downed power lines, lost internet resulting in a total loss of all everyday utilities. With a flashlight I ramped up this generator for the first time. It worked flawlessly. This unit was easy to use, compact, quiet, effective and efficient. It ran both refrigerators, two lights and a sump pump with ease. I could not be happier with the Honda generator!

Very Quiet
Did everything I expected it to be able to do. Great generator! Not too heavy and easy for me to operate. Highly recommend this product!

Recommend. Definitely Honda quality.
Great Honda product and quality. Love it. Very light weight. The seller was great and I recommend them. It is much quieter than conventional gasoline powered generators. My only take away is it not as quiet as claimed by Honda. They say ~50 dB. The NIOSH app on my cell phone said 79 dB. Not sure which number is real or if somewhere in between but its a little louder than I hoped but still recommend.

Honda eu1000i Generator
I am repeating order! It runs well; I wish this model had a fuel line cut-off feature.

Easy to use
This is easy to use. We had 2 fans, and a portable cpap machine charging. It lasted about 6 hours. I was not able to use my blow dryer. Very easy to transport, no loud noise while using it

Getting it to start, the pull rope will not move more than 4 inches
I filled the oil and gas, then tried to start the generator. The pull rope would not come out more than a few inches. I have 3 other Honda generators, I wanted the 1000 watt because its lighter to move around at ball parks

Honda excellence!
Worth the money! Easy start. It is missing some features of the 2000, like shut off that drains the carburetor and Bluetooth monitoring (which is nice for checking how close you are from full load and also start-up spikes from different appliances).Had I realized that, would have bought a second 2000 instead of the 1000 (also, you can only couple a 2000 with another 2000, not with the 1000).However, the smaller/lighter unit is more portable.NOTE: After using it in an emergency, not missing the BlueTooth Power monitoring display at all. Nice for initial set up, but there are plenty of cheap external meters on Amazon that will do a better job and storing data as well. for instance from KETOTEKhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2K2HNDY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1It easily kept up with a 22 CF fridge, lamp, WiFi router and devices charging. An external BERG tank + hoses (also from Amazon) kept it running much longer than the 3 hr the 1/2 GAL tank would allow (btw will last quite a big longer than 3hr on selectable ECO mode, depending on load).
