Thank you to Alla's Posh Flavours! The product(vegetable rennet powder) was shipped the morning after I placed my order, and reached me even before the expected delivery date. The free sachet of 8g citric acid was a nice surprise too.I prefer cultured cheeses, so I decided to try a cultured cheese(Caciotta) using regular dahi and Amul polypack milk to test the rennet. Although I didn't use any calcium chloride, I still wound up with a curd firm enough to hold clean cuts in less than 15 minutes at 48 degrees C. The picture shows the curds after stirring for 5 minutes, and you can see that they still hold their shape much better than plain warm dahi.I tried making caciotta with dahi and apple cider vinegar before, but the rennet definitely helps create a mellower, sweeter, creamier cheese, with a higher yield than acid and cultures alone.One thing though - Rs 100 worth of rennet per 4 litres of milk is quite expensive, and 4 litres is a lot of milk to handle. Sachets for 2L of milk would be very welcome.

Very good quality rennet, quite easy to use and provides excellent results. The packaging was intact, the cheese melts well in moderate heat. But a few suggestions:•The rennet could be sold in less than 5 sachets•I can be for using 1l per sachet-then it will be easier to use.Thank you🙏

Liked the product. Seller was promt in informing regarding delivery shortcomings due to the pandemic... nevertheless received the package in good shape, carefully packed. Used the product and the cheese was satisfactory.

Well if you are a beginner like me, don't just look buy it and you'll be suprised just like me. It's really easy to make cheese with the help of this product. Easy to use + you'll even get a manual on how to make cheese. Go for it.

This does not work! Wasted my money, time and efforts! Also 4L of milk!
