Practical Small Animal Ultrasonography - Abdomen

I spend my working days in general practices offering ultrasound support while there is often a machine in the corner and enthusiastic clinicians who would like to be better using it. I am often asked about good ultrasound texts by those who want to establish and improve their skills and this is it!This text follows the format of an introductory course and is targeting those near the beginning of their ultrasound journey who may have done a basic ultrasound course and now need some hand holding and regular reminders. The layout lends itself to quick referencing and there are useful tips throughout to improve image quality and identify essential structures. A feature I particularly liked is being able to download the ebook onto a mobile device such as the practice tablet with multiple video clips so you can actually reference these while using your machine.This is not an exhaustive small animal ultrasound text but encourages good practice and is confidence building enabling the reader to then move on to the more encyclopaedic reference books should they chose.
