Great value for my money

This tank and pump was buried in my yard 3 years ago to pull water from my poorly draining back yard. This system has worked flawlessly since it was installed. I have recently purchased a back up pump just in case the old pump fails (usually during the spring rains). When the ground becomes saturated with water, my septic tank would back up. NOT ANY MORE. Prior to installing the pump and tank we would have to have the septic tank pumped two or three times in the spring @ $400 per trip.

The Little Giant system was very easy to install, it had very easy to understand instructions and performs as expected. The system is quiet operating and has very quick response to water. All required pieces are there and nothing further had to be purchased.

Been in my crawlspace for a few months and still working fine. I do wish it pumped until the water level was a bit lower but that's my only complaint.

I’ve had this bucket and pump installed for two years now. I have it installed outdoors in my yard, to move ground water away from my swimming pool and back patio. I also ran two of the three gutter down spouts on the back of my home directly into my sump. It has performed flawlessly to date. I have it hard plumbed into 1.5” schedule 40 pvc, that I buried in the ground and runs the water to the street in front of my home. No more floating pool liner or flooded patio... It moves a lot of water for such a small pump! Tip - I clean and lube the switch every 6mos to keep it operating smoothly.In response to the flexible tubing it comes with. Its suitable for temporary use, but if this is going in your home to protect from flooding, you really need to plumb it with pvc pipe and upgrade to a Wayne or Zoeller check valve.

I bought two of these, seemed robust enough and set them in my crawlspace.After about ten days (being run on / for about 2-3hrs in 24hr period) the hose split. This happened about 6 inches from the pump (inside the basin) so at first I was not aware of it. The water was filling the basin, being pumped out (thru the split) into the basin etc etc.The plastic pipe is as thin as tissue paper (and just as useful)Luckily I checked it today!!I also noticed oil leaking out of the seal at the bottom of the pump....so I gues its only a matter of days before it dies.I have bought two ZOELLER pumps to replace these.Stay away from cheap pumps and use solid plastic pipe!!
