Husky Cherry Red Tomato - 20 Seeds

I received the package of seeds and there were actually quite a bit more than 20 in the package, there were about 30-35 seeds, so that was nice. I planted these in mini grow pots with potting soil and kept them warm indoors. And so far, a little more than half have sprouted. The sprouts had a viability rate of about 80% and I just transferred them to larger pots and am keeping them outside in the sun during the day, and so far, they are doing well.

Husband ordered and has them starting in tiny pots.

Planted 10 pots with 2 to 3 seeds in each. Eight (8) rooted as follows: three with 1, three with 2, two with 3 plants.They are in a 10-pot starter tray with holes which is suspended in a leakproof starter tray with water so they get watered from the bottom.This is in northeast and it has been dark and gloomy most of the 20 days, so I am quite happy with the results so far.

Very poor germination rate.The seedlings that did sprout,don’t look like they will survive transplanting.Very disappointed.

Grew these little tomatoes in a ceremic pot (large) and they were outstanding in favor and the largest yield I have ever seen. The plant is sturdy and supported the thick growth. Do not take up room in diameter, but they covered a large heavy duty cage and grew on up attaching itself to my deck railing which made it fun to pick tomatoes daily. I want to raise these and only these Husky's year after year now. So delighted to find Amazon had the seeds as they are hard to find otherwise.Enjoy this one, it is a real keeper.

So far a no fail exoeriance. Every seed I have planted has produced a plant.They could come down on the price a little.

I used the 2 cup method in a sunny window, no mat no greenhouse. 100% germination. They are tall and sturdy. Just waiting to move them outside to the green house to harden off.

I bought these to be part of my indoor winter herb garden. They sprouted quickly, and are growing fast under a 50 watt LED grow light suspended 2.5 feet above them. I've already thinned my four plants to two in a single large container. I'll edit this when I start getting fruit.
