Exactly what I needed.
I use this in an arcade cabinet run by a raspberry pi 5. It’s sitting in the front and works great with all my USB controllers plugged into it.

Better than I thought.
Ordered something else and it let me down. This was the same size and went into the same hole in the desk. Two things I wish it had were SD/microSD card reader and a power brick for always charging. I did pop it open and cover the blue LED. (She bright) Internals are well soldered and connections are glued for strain relief. Maybe the USB cord could be about 2' feet longer. The headphone jacks a really nice feature. Good price. Can very much give a recommendation. A dedicated mic jack is a good touch to me. Others may prefer a combo jack. The passthrough gap for cables is well sized enough you can run plenty of cables through it or chonky ones. Data transfer rate was solid. (This goes into my hub and then into my PC)

Extend USB's as a hub, with cable path for desk mount holes
Bought this as an idea to have some additional desk mounted USB ports for USB drives, phone charging cables, etc. Really nice product for what it does. The only real con's I have are that the teeth, hooks, fingers, whatever you want to call them, that should create more of an interference fit so the entire plug doesn't pull out of the hole mount every time I unplug a USB drive, are inadequate. Ended up wrapping mine with some electrical tape to create a more 'interference fit'.For the price, good, but the design could have some way to either flair out and extend the bottom so that it grabs better or perhaps have some way to add a locking device from the underside to keep the unit in the desk hole.

They work
The media could not be loaded. i bought two of these they work but before you buy one make sure the hole is the right size ,or just buy the hole saw drill to make it fit .i have one for each computer i use .I just unplug my flash drive and place in the other computer .never have to bent over to the computer .These work i will soon be buying a 3rd one to mount in my company van to hook up all my USB stuff

Must have to save your soul
OMG what a life saver to have all these ports available right next to me where I need them. I looked around and decided that having two 3.0, 1 type A, & mic audio ports at my finger tips was a great move. I try to keep my desk clean and tidy with all my ports behind my monitors so having this immediately accessible with in reach was a no brainer. Portable external drives, flash drives, plug in headphones for those pesky zoom calls, yada yada yada....Look you won't go wrong.

No retention
Item has zero retention in the hole. While unplugging something it'll just pull the whole unit out with it unless you also hold the unit down. Should've been designed with a threaded tail and a locking ring to clamp it onto the desk.

Works as intended and well built.
I installed this in a desk surface, and have all the USB charging power I need now for phones, flashlights, cameras, etc. Fully satisfied.

Desk hole USB insert adds versatility
Flush fit in preset hole in desk. Allows connection of USB devices to my computer without climbing under my desk to plug them in. Will charge devices, although fairly slowly.
