The battery is durable and functional. Charging speed is good.

Being that replacement batteries for the Leica Q are hard to come by and expensive (being that the camera is now over 6 years old), I looked for alternatives -- the most common being the Panasonic DMW-BLC12 -- which are also hard to find at the moment, and the fact that they're made for older Panasonic cameras (though, it should be noted that the Panasonic batteries are _exactly_ the same as the Leica BP-DC12's).Then I happened to stumble upon these BP batteries...Happy to report that these work perfectly in the Leica Q -- Other reviews for these have mentioned they are coded/decoded, and in my (short) experience, they work flawlessly. Battery indicator on the LCD/EVF works, and charges fine (stops charge, LED turns off) in the original Leica charger.I have plenty of experience with “Amazon batteries”, and the BP brand has been the best experience i've had for cheap replacements so far (many batteries will overcharge, have differing/inaccurate capacities, won’t be coded, etc…and will usually bloat if charged improperly or left on a charger, making it difficult to get them back out of the camera once they’re in).Bottom line: These BP's only marginally more expensive than the other popular Amazon/generic brands, and very much worth the [very slight] extra cost.

I have several of these as extra batteries for my Pentax KP and K-r. They provide lasting power and hold a charge as well as the original. An excellent value!

Picked up a Panasonic LUMIX FZ300 recently and just wanted some extra/spare batteries to have around. Haven't fully tested these from charged to empty but they seem to work well and hold charge for a bit. Price is good so hoping these will last for awhile.

I needed additional batteries for an extended canoe trip. These filled the need. Both were fully charged when I used them. The charge lasted as long as I expected. Physically these fit exactly in the camera and install and extract easily. I'd buy again if I needed more.

This BM DMW-BLC12 Battery took a charge and seems to work fine in my Lumix G-85.

I've bought 3 of these batteries, but 2 of them have tested bad when I needed them, although I've tried to keep them charged. I'll try another brand.

Exact fit looks exactly like the one that came with the camera no issues. I haven’t really used it yet.
