These do exactly what I bought them for - to angle a speaker downwards from a high shelf. One comment I'll add is they aren't all that rubbery. From previous comments that they were like tires I expected that, but they are harder than I thought, although they will still be non-slip enough for my needs. As others have stated, these things stink like an oil refinery. I got them on a Wednesday and didn't need them until Saturday so I left them in the garage until I needed them. Then I took them to the kitchen sink, slathered them with dawn and scrubbed them a bit, and finally soaked them in really hot water when I removed the soap. I then dried them and used them. They smelled a lot less after that, and the area smelled for about 2 hours after I put them under the speaker, but this morning I couldn't hardly notice it anymore. These are kind of meant for industrial purposes and there the stink probably doesn't matter, and probably after they get some dirt on them they'd be better, but they did work great for my project and they don't smell anymore.

We got these to act as rubber spacers but they were much larger than we thought so it wouldn't work in the traditional sense. We ordered three wedges and ended up cutting up one of the wedges to act as the spacers and then used the other half as a small door stop. The other two we easily found uses for and used them as door stops for doors that are higher off the ground. It smells like rubber and there was a coating of some soot material but comes off with a simple cleaning. Nice solid rubber and much better than sticking a large rock in front of the door to hold it open. Must have heavy duty scissors to cut effectively. Even then it isn't the easiest but it worked.

Our garage backdoor is very heavy and also has a gap of 2.5 inches from floor to door when it is opened. We have used all kinds of things to hold the door open. When this arrived my husband was thrilled to use it. It holds our heavy door with no issues. We use it on a cement floor and it stays where we place it.It arrived and had a rubber factory aroma to it which dissipated in a few days. (and it was not that bad) It is strong and has good weight to it. We are very happy with this product!

These wedges stink to high heaven. They smell like tar. If you're using them in a warehouse or something, maybe it won't matter. But I bought one to use in my home, and it stank up the room within seconds. Instant return.

Read description carefully and more importantly know what you want. Almost all of the reviews that I saw were because the purchaser didn't seem to know what they wanted. This is simply a large, non-sticky wedge of rubber designed for storing large commercial pipes in place... Make your decision carefully. Worked great as my door stop!

Bought this for deep lunges for knee rehab. It's definitely sturdy/solid and a good angle, the the material is concerning. It arrived with a warning that the material may be carcinogenic. after almost a year, it is still off gassing. From day one I have kept it in a freezer bag in my gym duffel because to the toxicity concern. It has discolored the bag a strange green...I'd strongly recommend a TPU or PVC alternative if available. If this is all you can find, bag it up in a freezer bag for storage.

Purchased this to help with our large fish tank. It keeps the glass top “door” open so we can do maintenance on the inside of the tank without fearing the glass door will drop. Happy with purchase Definitely works for what we intended.
