Blue Elephant royal thai cuisine Red Curry Paste 70 G

I have bought this brand of curry for years; it has been altered in the "new repackaging". Quality is not thick as usual, quantity is about half of what was formerly received in a foil package, now it is in clear sealed plastic. I am greatly disappointed in what used to be a great product for a much lesser price. Somebody tell me what happened please.

This product is really great. Everything is already in it, just add 1/2 cup of water and your desired meat/protein/veggies. It has a delicious Thai curry flavor, somewhat spicy — I’d say it’s mild to medium on the Thai restaurant scale that I have experienced. This curry is better than any of my local restaurants’ red curries. Makes for a very quick and tasty meal! Highly recommend, I will be buying more and trying the other varieties as well.As for the one star review based on price, that’s ridiculous. The price is clearly listed, if it’s too expensive for you then don’t buy it, but don’t give the product one star because you’re salty about that!

It was not sold by Blue Elephant but by naveenana. I am not sure if the product is authentic or not.

I have not tried this product but I went to their restaurant and I was simply amazed. The food tasted amazing and it was more upscale then i'm used to but I just loved the food and the atmosphere. The building has so much history and yet felt like a mansion and yet like a hidden resort. I bought the cookbook and I have thought about this place many times since i left Thailand. I will be returning when head back to Thailand. I plan to try their paste soon but based on my experience their paste must be good!
