Good product
I was using this item to cover a midline catheter placed in the upper arm. I used a surgeon which is a stretch rule sleeve to go over it. This held the item in perfect alignment and my midline did not get wet at all during my shower.

HAppy with product.
I have a pic line inside my bicep. Tried saran wrap a few times, what a pain to use with one arm. Measured my arm and ordered the small size. They are about the thickness of Saran wrap with elastic in each end. I didn't have a problem working the sleeve on and off. I didn't stand directly under the shower, used the sleeve as a shield against splash. Worked as I hoped. Taking care to remove it, I've used one sleeve 6 times before I got a hole in it.

It Really Works!
I had a PICC line placed in my upper arm this year, and was tired of wrapping Saran Wrap and then ineffectively taping it every time I wanted to take a shower, so I took a chance on these. They are GREAT! They come with built-in elastic bands at both ends, which make a pretty good seal on my average size upper arm (27 cm circumference at the bicep). The only things to watch out for are 1) don't try and adjust the sleeve in the shower, as the slightest pull will cause a tiny gap to momentarily open which immediately allows water to rush in; and 2) the plastic is extremely thin, so be careful about tearing it when you are putting it on. I easily put my thumb through it taking it off. Thank you to the fellow Pittsburgher who invented this!

I Still Have Not Found the Waterproof Product I've Been Looking For
Having a PICC line and taking a shower can be an arduous and time-consuming objective, and this product proves it. There is elastic on either side that is not very tight. If you are going to take a full-fledged shower it is important that you add some reinforcements to the ends such as medical tape or rubber bands, being careful not to make it too tight because of the risk of blood clots or other medical issues. I have yet to find a product that covers a PICC line during a shower that is very effective. That is the case with this one. I have found that the press and seal plastic wrap seems to still be the best way to keep water away from the PICC site. On a positive note, I will say that this cover is good for keeping water away while taking a shallow bath, or activities like washing your hair in the sink.

Kept line dry
I have had a picc lin for 4 months, and probably need it for 2 more. I had a more durable protectoe, but it tore. When ordering another of the same, I saw this and decided to give it a try, hoping to extend the life of the more ecxpensive one. I was very pleases with this product. It is very easy to put on, and although it says one time use, since sterility is not an issue for me, I let it dry, and got two uses from one. A little moisture does get in, but the picc line and dressing did not get wet. It does say to not let direct spray hit the line, which I heeded. It is very lightweight, allowing for ease of movement.

Good price for what they do.
It still leaks when taking a shower. top and bottom bands are not wide enough or tight enough so you still need to tape both ends. However, these are far less costly than others and are worth buying. They can be reused but they loosen up with each use. I used them for about 4 months. They worked out OK but needed some help.

Perfect!!
I'm just out of the Hospital and will have this darned PICC for the next 6-weeks to infuse antibiotics, and I have been using a large sandwich bag with the sides cut open and then taped to my arm to shower. This PICC Line Protector, which I have tried on, fits perfectly. In fact, I'm ordering another set of 7 right now so I will have more to use later (the pack comes with 7 sleeves). These are fantastic! If you have an arm PICC, then I would get some of these. Of course, I will still tape around the upper end (end closest to my armpit) just to make sure water doesn't get in. But I don't think I really need to do so. Delivery was very quick (wasn't expecting them for another 5-7 days).

Perfect
Good for me when showering, my wound doesn’t get wet. The elastic needs to be a little bigger, I brought a large some difficulty pulling it up my arm
