The quality is good and light. I bought three in different colors one size up for a perfect fit. Very comfortable and the cranes are a nice touch.

(Well, I have for washing… but anyway) It is SO COMFY! And it fits well. The material is light enough and breathable, but not too light to the point it feels like tissue. It’s got nice deep pockets on the front. And you can tie it closed. I recommend buying a size up, since it is Japanese sizing. But it fits so well 😁

This is almost exactly what I have been looking for. I deducted one star because it fits like a 1x and not a 2x. Men's 2x shirts and jackets run large on me for the most part. It would be nice if they made it in a 3x size. Then I suspect that it would fit beautifully.

Sleeves should be squared. This is a westernized version of what you're thinking it is. If you're looking to complete that cosplay, this is not the choice. Material is very thin and light weight. I can't put this on over my kimono, it looks horrible. The sleeve style makes the kimono sleeve bunch up uncomfortablely. The size is off too, if this is supposed to be worn over something, you will need to order a size up from what you wear.

The coat is nice, but a bit thin; no big deal. Do not believe the sizing chart at all. I am a 49 for chest; XL should have fit just fine and had room; not at all. Ordered an XXL to see how that is.

The fabric is thick, yet lightweight. It’s clearly well made and the stitching is as high quality as the rest of the garment. I’m a female (5’7” 130lb) and bought a large as a haori for a samurai costume, assuming that the large size would be oversized. I even had second thoughts on if the size large was too big However, the hem falls a few inches below my groin, and fits smaller than expected. I assumed, with the style, it’d be more loose and large, but it is quite structured and well fit. Also, you can wear this casually, not just as a costume, which is really nice. The garment is very versatile
