Scalamandre SCS3874 Indigo Balinese Peacock Self Adhesive Wallpaper, Blue

I love the style of this wallpaper! It added just what I wanted to the bookcases that flank my fireplace!

I ordered this wallpaper to cover lampshades on a dining room chandelier. I love the color and texture. Pattern looks expensive. It was easy to peel and stick to surface. The green is about the color of a granny smith apple. I appreciated that it was wrapped so that there was no waste upon opening the sleeve. I would definitely recommend.

Bought this scalamandre classic pattern to cover an ugly white fridge. After two rolls and a fairly simple application with an exacto blade trim, the fridge was instantly transformed! I love how it turned out and would recommend this product for rentals and temporary projects.

i love the pattern. It was easy to put up, but, the backing paper that you peel off shredded like masking tape as I was pulling it off while the top was already stuck in place. I had to go behind the strip and scrape the paper off with my fingernails and carefully pull it down to "meet" the main section already peeled off. It happened on 2 of the 6 sheets I hung. And of course it happened in the corners where it is hardest to place. I Also, as I was smoothing out the sheets, the blue ink came off onto my tool (plastic wallpaper smoother), so i then wrapped it in a towel, where the ink really was evidently coming off. Nobody will ever notice the "smudges" but i was expecting higher quality with Scalamandre's name on this product.

I will try and add a picture of the finished look as soon as I finish it! But very beautiful ever better than I imagined.

Exactly what we were looking for!

I used this to wallpaper the back of shelves and it was a nightmare to install. If you use either your hands or any kind of tool to smooth it out, the ink runs everywhere. Since the background is white, the blue smudging is very noticeable. The pattern also didn’t line up by the time I was laying the second sheet since I think it stretched. I wouldn’t purchase this again.

Overall happy with this but when I was hanging it some of the blue ink came off on my hands (they were not wet) and smudged on the paper. Not terribly noticeable in this case, but in a more prominent place it might be.
