Slightly fidgety, but works perfectly for planned shots
The media could not be loaded. I ended up buying this because I picked up my DJI Pocket 2 used, which was missing alot of the original accessories. Sadly, they don't sell a white version of this, but I did like having a sort of black and white colour scheme on the camera. The quality of the control stick itself along with the packaging and support were all great! It came packed in a small plastic case to help keep it safe, which I thought was a really nice touch. The control stick as a whole feels sturdy, and the plastic itself feels like it's quite high quality, and matches that of the rest of the camera. I did require some support setting it up due to a problem with my cameras firmware, but DJIs support was brilliant and helped me fix it within half an hour. The joystick itself works fine. It's not great, but it's perfectly fine. It can be difficult to hold the joystick in one place to get a certain shot, as if you're holding it between any of the main axes, if you apply too much pressure on it, it will slip up or down to a main axis position, but if you put too little pressure it wont activate both sides and will only move in one direction, but once you have got the hang of it, it is quite easy to use, and help you to get some great shots. It fits nice and snuggly within the spot for it in the camera. You can feel the pins latch on to it, and it doesn't feel like it could just slide off! However, it is still really easy to take it off. It's the perfect balance between it being secure but still very easy to use, with it being literally plug and play, with only two options to adjust what the button and joystick does within the settings. For £25, I think it is a little bit pricey, but the cost is justified through the solid build quality, the great DJI support which comes with it, along with the unpacking and user experience.

A life saver
So my creator's combo came with a faulty handle that I have had to manage for almost 3 years. Bought this and it's a game changer. It works perfectly well. No regret at all.

Not just a clip.
One possible negative. Does not fit well if your mobile has a thick case on. Although the clip is solid, when positioning the connecting adapter which is short, the piece that plugs into your mobile does not alway stay in the socket so loses its connection. Works perfectly when your mobile has no case on.

This opens up a new way to interact with your DJI Pocket 2!
Prior to using the control stick, I really struggled with panning or zooming on my Pocket 2. This helps with multiple recording features. What could be improved is the build quality, I usually would throw my Pocket 2 into my travel bag but I recently found that the joystick had snapped off. This is my 2nd control stick, I find it is quite hard to navigate without it!This brings the same functionality found on the DJI Pocket 3.The DJI Pocket 2 Mini Control Stick is a worthwhile investment for anyone who wants to take their Pocket 2 to the next level. It significantly enhances the camera's capabilities and makes it easier to capture stunning footage. While it's not perfect, it's a great tool for both amateur and professional videographers.I was going to pull the trigger and upgrade to the Pocket 3 once I had broken my first control stick but I was happy to find this replaceable part on Amazon to extend the usability of my Pocket 2!

Terrible design
Why make a waterproof casing that can't have the Bluetooth adaptor attached? Extremely awkward to work with and the gimble doesn't flow with the 45degree tilt in the casing. You constantly get cropping of the casing and can only use it at one angle hand held. Such a terrible design choice and it makes 60% of your functions void

Has its limitations
Not easy to assemble and and activate. Demist sheets fiddly and tight to fit and not all together effective. However! The images are good even though the size is not changeable.Useful for occasional use but a bitstressful when using your expensive pocket 2.Probably better to invest in the action cams as you can take themstraight into 10m without the housing, also better for all weather filming, love the pocket 2 but I have bought an action cam to supplement my drone and pocket 2. Not telling which make though!
