PanPastel Artist Pastels by GOLDEN, Drawing Set, 10 Color, Professional Artist Pastels, Unique Pan Format (cake-like)

My order arrived from Blick as the seller, and it was well packaged and undamaged. I didn't realize that it would be coming from this seller, actually, but was grateful to make that discovery. Blick never disappoints. All pans were intact and perfect. The material itself is great. I agree with others that the stacked way of packaging a set is not ideal, because it's really inefficient to have to unscrew each of them to see if it's the color you want to use. There's no way to tell when they're all screwed together. It's very easy to cross-thread the pans, too. I'll be ordering separate lids so I can have more flexibility for storage and ease of use, but the lids seem to only come in sets of 8, and the "drawing" set I ordered came with 10 colors. I agree with other reviewers that it's very strange for the set to include "sofft" applicator tips for a tool base (the blue wand) that is not included. Unless you're simply using those as tiny sponges (with your fingers), then you'll need the wand as a separate purchase. Still a beautiful medium to use for drawing/painting, but the "kit" idea needs refining.

I absolutely adore this product and use it often. You won't be disappointed believe me.My first set was damaged beyond measure due to faulty packing on the part of an Amazon employee. When purchasing delicate art supplies from Amazon they may or may not arrive in tact, but Amazon is very good about making sure their customers are happy, so don't hesitate to call and let them know if a problem occurs.I did, and despite the fact that these pastels once again arrived in faulty packaging, they were in tact.The product itself is absolutely phenomenal, I've bought several sets. If you love to do pastel work or Multi Media pieces, this medium should not be overlooked. You'll love them. They come in about eighty colors and there are matalics and pearlescents as well.Go to YouTube and watch some videos to see how other artists are doing with this medium, if you need to.Enjoy!

I just received my PanPastel and noticed that the case was broken. Then, I opened each color and 2 were crumbled. They should be more careful when shipping the products, especially when they are so delicate. Overall, the colors are soft and of good quality. Shipping was fast.

Arrived in pristine condition all colors intact and first time user so absolutely blown away by the versatility of PanPastels and the texture and depth of color achieved when used! Love these pastels more than gouache or acrylics now!!

The colors are really vibrant/ go on well, they work well for what I need them for. However the pans are the most annoying thing I have ever delt with. My grey pastel color came “shattered” which isn’t a a big deal to me, except for the fact that I struggled so much to get the dang things open it went everywhere. Now I’m in the middle of a project and I can NOT unscrew the colors. I somehow didn’t realize they were connected to get her and not individually packaged. I would not buy again just because of that, but I realized they have actual pans rather than this stacked thing and I would buy those because I do like the quality of the pastels themselves. Granted all I’ve used previously is ground up chalk pastels.The colors do change a good bit with the sealant I use but again I expected that slightly and it’s not a huge deal currently/ or for the colors I’m using.I have bruises on my hands from opening, if you have any sort of hand/ grip strength issues I would not recommend these. I’m hoping at some point I’ll be able to get them open

This product is unbelievably fabulous and different from anything I've used before. It's easy and small to carry if you want. It's high quality pigment and a pleasure to use. The package arrived on time and in perfect condition.
