Eat Smart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale, 550 lb High Capacity Scale, Extra Wide Platform, Bath Scale for Body Weight, Black

I am nowhere near the maximum weight for this scale but wanted one with a larger platform since I am a senior and unsteady on my feet. I didn't feel secure on my old scale since it had a plastic base and was lightweight so when stepping up onto it sometimes would tip until both feet were in place, plus the display didn't light up anymore even with new batteries. I have never heard of this brand and was skeptical on the reliability but didn't want a glass top scale due to safety risks. When I saw this scale I was pleased with the reviews I read, so I decided to give it a try. It was delivered the same day I ordered it...BIG perk for me. It was easy to set up as it was already calibrated to "lbs" instead of "kg" from factory. I inserted the batteries (yes, found taped to the box), tapped to calibrate, and it was ready to use within minutes. It was within a pound of my old scale reading so I found a good starting point to continue with my weight loss program. I have not found any option for downloading an APP nor do I wish to have one. Also, after stepping on the scale and the final weight reading is displayed, it flashes 3 times but never does beep. If that means my scale is defective, I certainly don't miss the beeping and will continue with it as it is. I basically wanted an affordable digital readout scale with a backlight and a larger platform (not glass) that is both sturdy and aesthetically designed to be left out in the room, and this scale fits my list. I highly recommend.

The scale looks very nice and appears to be well made. The wide base makes it easy to stand on and the digital numbers are easy to read. Some scales are narrow.I like how the scale feels solid and of quality.If you need a higher weight reading, it weighs up to 550 pounds!I recommend this product. Thank you!

Seems like a good quality scale, only uad it for a week so far but the weights are consitent and seem accurate

accurate , big bright display , quick , looks good , large surface for big feet or a clumsy steppers ,One and only thing i would change is a beeping reading complete alert that cannot be turned off .not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have the option to turn the beeper off .

I have used a number of scales over the past 60 years and this one is the stand out best! Easy to set up and easy to use. Super accurate! You will be glad you did. The construction materials are superior as is the actual construction. I would be willing to predict that this scale is going to last a long, long, LONG time.👍🏻😁

I am very pleased with my purchase. I put the batteries in that came with it, stepped on the scale and it worked quickly! I would recommend this to everyone looking for a good scale at a good price!

Some comments say the batteries are not included - they are. In the manual it says where the batteries are located in the packaging. Scale is sturdy, I am 6'1 and until I got the scale, hadn't weighed myself in many years - last time I checked, I was 420lbs and wanted the extra "room" in case I was heavier.The platform is wide - much wider than a usual scale. Personally, I'd like it maybe an inch wider on either side. I do need to squish my legs together a pit to be centered on the scale, but, it's comfortable enough and I don't feel like I contorting to stand on it.Looks nice and the screen is bright and easy to read. Even has a decimal point for a bit more info, i.e. 431.6lbs.I recommend reading the short manual - that's how I found out the batteries were taped to the cardboard packaging because I didn't notice them at first. There is also a note about calibration - turn it on, it will say C on the display, read zero's and then turn off. Then you can stand on it again and get a reading. You only need to do this when you swap batteries or move it to a new location/change in flooring.Does everything the item description says and I would recommend to others

It's easy to use and durable. The readout is very visible and it's easy to switch between pounds and kgs. Definitely a good option.

It's a well made and sturdy scale good for bigger sized people. I'm working towards losing a bunch of excess weight (with a healthy diet and regular exercise) and getting back into better shape, so I wanted a well made and reliable scale to monitor my progress. I also feel that having this scale can help motivate me in working towards my weight-loss goals. Overall I find it's easy to use, seems quite accurate (after calibrating, testing a few times in a row, the same weight would register), a solid build, wide area to step on, beeps when weight display is ready to read, big easy-to-read numbers that stay on the display for about 20 seconds after getting off the scale and also easy to calibrate when need be. I like it and so far no problems using it.
