Not had to clean it yet, but looks ok. Far better than just a seat belt clip as there are several points to connect the inbuilt safety belts and harnesses to and around dog. Sturdy, sides attach with extremely strong Velcro & can be dropped for ease of exit. The back & lid open upwards over seat back & at toe there is an adjustable belt which loops around headrest. Just below that on RH side facing you is a belt which can be attached to dogs collar or harness. At seat level there are 2 sets of straps which come from left and right and clip together, one of which has a corded loop which can be attached to lead or harness. Not sure which way the latter 2 sets are supposed to go so I use the 1 with the loop on 1st which I clip to the lead then put around front of dog. There is another click together strap which I do however I can whilst dog fidgets. I put 2 small thin fleece beds inside for comfort. I think the many attachment point make this very safe and good for restless dogs who try to move about in car.

Love this car seat. It's very sturdy, well made and east to install.Every side is velcrod so easy for Ted's my Yorkis/Bichon x to get in and out overStrap easy to attach to Teddy's harness so he's secure and long enough so that he can change positions. . For added comfort I've put a soft blanket inside. Teddy seems to like it and I know he's safe.I would highly recommend.

I am very pleased with my Purchase. I have a chihuahua puppy and I've found the restraining strap too long but was easily remedied with a knot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because I would prefer to use my restrained that plugs into the seat belt but there isn't a slot to thread it through. The item is well built and quite large, it takes up the whole of the front seat of my Hyundai I 10. The first few times I have taken my dog out in the car he was sick but I've used this seat twice now and he hasn't been sick at all. I would recommend this product.

Feels really well made and sturdy, and I love that it is Velcro fastened rather than zips as my dog gets travel sick so I’m sure this would have contained it better. Unfortunately it was too small, even though she is within the correct weight bracket and she hated it. (But she is a nervous rescue). I would recommend it though.

Love the look of this car seat… was hopeful when I use it that it meets expectations…however, while fitting to rear seat of my car for first time , the buckle on bottom strap snapped, so I’ve had to knot he strap for now. I tried to contact seller to request a new buckle, but Amazon advise that I only have the option to return for refund, leaving me without a dog car seat while and if I re-order, which is very inconvenient, time consuming and unsatisfactory, considering I just need a tiny replaceable part. So I can’t comment except to say that it looked good until I tried to fit it and secure straps… hope this helps

My puppy settled into this seat straight away. Easy to clean and fit in the car. Safe and secure for my puppy.

Great quality easy to use my dog loves it. He comes out with us a lot more now in the car. He looks comfortable sat up and lay down. It’s quick and easy to set up and also take back down if needed to remove it. Highly recommend for any dog to enjoy car journeys safely it’s a great fit very stable and great value for money.
