Pink Unicorn!?!?
Ordered the pure black but it looks like there was a slight mix up. No issues with the quality or function of the eye patch but not sure if I the unicorn works with the beard.

This eyepatch has changed my life!
I have only given a handful of reviews...ever!I received my eyepatch and immediately put it on. I absolutely love that it covers the whole lens on one side and extends to cover the side for peripheral vision block! An eyepatch that covered just the lens, but not the side and peripheral view would be useless to me. This patch is awesome and so soft! I will be buying more! The problem with my eye:Three months after my kidney transplant in 2016, I had a complete retinal detachment & a complete tear of my retina, in my left eye. So I wasn’t a candidate for the bubble surgery that can sometimes save eyesight. Instead I had surgery where they filled my eye with oil. I did not get any vision back, just a complete blur of everything in that eye. Within two years I developed a full cataract in the same eye. That happens when they have to fill the eye with oil.I am going to have to have the cataract surgery soon. But in the meantime this eyepatch has changed my life! I wish I would have looked more into eyepatches in the last three years! After the retinal surgery not only do I have the cataract, but I developed several painful cysts on that left eye. I tried a few eyepatches... one that you tape over your eye and the commonly used pirate type eyepatch. Neither worked for me, and the pirate one gave me terrible headaches because of the head band. Not good for someone who already has headaches!I think the other serious health complications after transplant, kept me from being able to focus on my eye.My immune system being is so compromised that I usually get infections that often become septic and life-threatening. So trying to figure out some solution to help with the terrible pain & sensitivities in my left eye, from just having it open every day definitely took a backseat. To understand how this has changed my life in such a short time, I have to explain that every day my eye would Hurt so bad as I tried to do anything. It hurt watching TV and I definitely had a big problem looking at my phone screen. it also caused problems for my good eye, like double vision. I have just dealt with the pain.I live on the water in a condo in Panama City Beach... or we have some of the most beautiful white sand beaches. I am so proud to have bought our small home, as a single mom who is disabled. Before all of the problems with my eye, I could watch dolphins swimming by and hunting and playing in my backyard! The pelicans are probably the funniest! I would take so many photos and really got into photography. That all stopped when my eye became too sensitive to light and that only added to the terrible eye pain! So for the last two years I have sat on my couch with dark curtains closed. It has been so dark in the living room.I could hear the boats going by and people having fun on their Jetski’s, etc. but I just couldn’t open the curtains.Today the curtains are open! When I put my eyepatch on my glasses (I got the color black) I immediately noticed a huge difference! And as the hours went by I noticed I had almost no pain in that eye! It used to get really dry and I would spend tons of money on eyedrops and I haven’t had to use any eyedrops in it yet! My son was excited and he wanted to see if opening the curtains would be too much. It wasn’t!I imagine that when I do get my cataract surgery after the coronavirus shut down, that this eyepatch will be perfect for after surgery too! As I am writing this, I just watched some dolphins swimming by! I can now watch the sunrise and not just the sunset! If you are having problems with a sensitive or painful eye, or something similar, I hope you give this eyepatch a try! And I hope that it can change your life like it has mine!

You don't HAVE to be a "pirate!"
I suffer double vision for which there is no medical solution. The easiest "fix" is to simply patch one eye.A quick search resulted in mostly "elastic band" -type patches that I have tried before; they are uncomfortable and interfere with eyewear and hair. Hence I like this Astropic item better! It simply slides over eyeglasses, blocking vision entirely on one side including the outside of the lens. It't not uncomfortable but DOES take some getting used to.Downsides to ANY eye patch include (for me):1: Must get used to change in 'depth of field" when eye is patched; dropping things or adjusting to close work.2: I find the reduced light input annoying (i.e., you're blocking half the light from field of vision). I guess lamp adjustments in the home would fix that. The product is soft and not scratchy; gentle hand washing should be fine. I will try this for a week or so, then select from a wide assortment of colors if I decide to use these long-term.

Great eye patch design!
The design of this patch is unique. It fits on your glasses so you don't have a piece of elastic going around your head. It is easy to pull back to you ear, if you want to give your eye some exercise. I started out with the patch style with the elastic around my head. Made a mess of my hair! This design blocks all light and images from coming in to your side vision. It is such a unique design, my Ophthalmologist made note of it. I am wearing this patch because the shingle virus has settled in one of the nerves of my eye, causing double vision. I cannot read or function well without this patch until this subsides.

Best patch we’ve ever bought
My 9 year old daughter has had to wear an eye patch since she was 2 to help strengthen her eye. We’ve been through SO many patches. We tried disposable ones and felt ones from the eye doctor and a few other fabric patches over the years. My daughter’s complaint was that the patches were either uncomfortable and/or scratchy. This one she never complains about. It’s silky soft and covers her whole eye so there’s no temptation to peek :)

MUCH more comfortable than the multi-pack
I bought this and I bought a multi-pack from the same brand in different fabric. I had retina surgery, had to use eye drops that dilated my eye, and as a result, I was very light-sensitive for quite a while after the surgery. Since not working was not an option, I got these patches to put over that side of my glasses. This one was nice and soft, stayed put, and the edges are soft. The others were a sort of breathable paper-fabric with very rough edges. I would definitely recommend springing for the silk one and keeping track of it to use on other pairs of glasses.

Classy, comfortable, and functional
I love this newest upgrade to these eye patches. The silk feels lovely, and the quality of the fabric helps to make me feel better about the recent loss of my eye. I also love the color options. The “dusky pink“ suits my particular skin tone, and makes me look like less of an eyesore to others. The marketing photos above don’t show it well, but the outside has the colored silk, while the inside is black silk. The inner black silk ensures that no light gets through to my eye, and that is helpful to me. I’ve also chosen different colors for my various distance vision glasses, and now it’s easier to tell them apart. My only critique is on the packaging they come in. The packaging is upmarket and lovely, but not very eco-conscious. It goes straight into our recycling bin.

Simple and does the job.
It fit my glasses and is easy to install. I found that covering one eye takes getting used to. I bought this to wear when I am tired and troubled with double vision when working on the computer. It does help. It does take getting to. Or, perhaps, call it training to get one eye to work by itself. It would be great protection after injury or surgery. It is soft and washable.

Excellent product for double vision
Excellent product. Perfect for people suffering from double vision. Put it on one side of the prescription glasses and you are good to go.

Good product
This is the best patch for glasses I’ve found. If you need one this will get the job done. Check and make sure the item fits on your glasses lens.

Let's in Light.
I ordered the correct size (medium) for my glasses but it does not block light and eyelashes can touch. Usefull for watching tv only but a proper patch will work much better. Not comfortable to use for very long. Not recommended.
