I needed something to help fit a glass, kitchen splashback that I had had made. When I designed the template, I used paper, then hardboard, as my design wasn't just a simple rectangle. However, fitting a flexible template under an extractor, over the top of upstands and down behind where the cooker would be is simple compared to fitting a heavy lump of glass. I'm not sure how much the glass weighed but it was heavy - and these suction cups lifted it without a problem. At first, as a dry run, my wife held the handle of one of the suction cups and the bottom of the glass and I held the other on the other side.....to be on the safe side. When it came to actually fitting the glass to the silicon adhesive, I found it easier to just do it myself, as after the trial run, I was certain the suction cups would hold.These suction cups were absolutely worth the money for this job; they held the glass exactly where I needed it, plus, I could hold it easily in place so I could refit my spacers (which had dropped out of position). They're dead easy to use straight out of the box.I have an allotment and a greenhouse, so I can see lots more use for these. Plus, and I don't know if they'll work, I have some flagstones to shift - if they work on those then that'll be a Brucie Bonus!Also, as part of my job, I do some corporate filming and I would feel very confident with mounting one of my cameras, with the aid of a clamp, to a window or to a car/van with one of these.

Bought these as I needed to remove the windscreen from my project car. I was a bit skeptical but they stuck on very well and strong and I had no issue maneuvering a windscreen with them👌🏻

Worked really well on my new double glazing glass. They don't always grab straight away and may need a little playing with but once they bite you can lift the pain with confidence.

Product does everything it says on the pack.However, it would have nice if they had swept up in the factory before spraying them. See photo.

Did the job with tiles 1200 X 600 ..

Bought these to help both change some double glazing units (holding the old glass whilst deglazing) and to fix some shower boards . I was pleasantlly surprised as to how sturdy and well built these are for the money. And they've already been proven to hold some very heavy double and triple glazed units. They can be tricky to dislodge form the said items but that aside - they do the job at a very good price. Great purchase !

I don't know how many kg this suction caps can hold. They are good for moving tv LCD screens and backdoors with glass in. No complaints at all.These suction cups don't leave marks at all and are better quality than other from DIY trade shops.Not sure why people writing bad reviews. Maybe haters or competitors?
