I wish the connector piece was smaller. It was about the same size as the drain hose on my portable washing machine (the brand is Costway), so the connection isn't great. I stuck that section of hose in a bucket in case it leaks. Although, I do appreciate that the part that hangs over the tub fits my tub; the one that came with my washing machine didn't.

I tried to make an attachment to the drain hose on my panda portable with this new hose along with the part that couples the hoses together to extend it ,so even with an extra clamp and some plumbers tape the fitting was wayyy to loose so it leaked like crazy. So could not use it.
