Update 7/12/2018: This mix is amazing, tonight it became the all time staple in my home pantry! I had decided on Chicken Fried Steak, for dinner. You know the messy way, dip in flour, then dip in beaten egg, then dip in flour again, then place in skillet with cooking oil, instead I tried this "Louisiana Seasoned Chicken Fry". Fantastic tasting, less mess by far. great batter for chicken & steak! Product is difficult to locate in retail stores, they do not stock it. Knuckleheads stock the variety of the "Louisiana Fish Fry Mixes". Clue: Just remember do not add additional seasonings to product unless you want it "hot". I prepared the "Chicken Fried Steak" tonight, using only the "Louisiana Seasoned Chicken Fry"! It is fantastic! Try it you will like it!

I absolutely love this chicken fry!!!! It has awesome flavor and makes the chicken sooo crunchy!!!! I won't make my fried chicken without it! I recently purchased 3 boxes to fry a lot of chicken for my holiday party and got worried that I wouldn't have my order in time because the order confirmation said it may arrive by December 31st-January 3rd, so I wrote to the people at The Cajun Supermarket asking them to please ship my order ASAP so I would definitely have it by the 31st & they responded right away saying they would definitely make sure that I had it!!! They are soooo good!!! I received my order by the 30th!!! They went above & beyond to provide outstanding customer service!!!! This company stand out because so many companies would have ignored my message and let the order get there whenever it got there. I not only highly recommend the product, I highly recommend the Cajun Supermarket for their outstanding customer service! They will absolutely take care of their customers and they have quality products!

This is the best breading mix for chicken. My favorite is chicken wings. Mix some of the flour with water and then dip it in the dry flour and fry. Soooooo crunchy and delish. I have to order it from Amazon because my local supermarkets don't have it

I deep fat fry my chicken parts using this stuff according to the directions. However, I add an equal quantity of my home made flavored bread crumbs to the shake bag. ( You dip your chicken into the batter, and then shake it into the dry bread crumb/chicky fry mixture in a plastic bag before deep frying ). Fry the battered chicken at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes. Result: Absolutely far superior to any chicken restaurant product!!! I make sure I am never out of this product. Unfortunately, you just can't find it in stores in Panama. Thank goodness for Amazon.

This product was good but did not "Wow" me. I was expecting it to be much spicier from the reviews I read. I thought the flavor was rather mild. It was perfectly fine but don't know that I would order it again.

Used the seasoning on Costco skinless chicken breast’s and was very pleased with the outcome. Cut the Brett’s into strips and followed the instructions on the box and everything turned out perfect. Will use this product again real soon but will not buy from Amazon, I found this product locally at 1/3 the price, 9oz packet $2.50 each. All that being said the seasoning is awesome will add a little more heat to the mix next time.
