This works better for me than any other pain reliever. Yes, it burns as it goes into your muscles, but I always feel better the next day.

I play double bass, which requires strong pressure on the my arthritic fingers. I have been using this with wonderful results for about 10 years.BUT. . . some persons have sensitive skin, so they should probably start with the weaker version with less capsaicin. Definitely go slowly.Use it for a couple of weeks and your skin will probably get used to it. (This is somewhat like the effect of eating spicy food—over time the pain-sensing nerves become less sensitive, so one can eat more spicy foods.)Use the stronger version whenever you can tolerate it.The weaker version from the same company has 0.025% capsaicin. It comes with an applicator.

I have idiopathic (no specific cause) itching on my arm. My scratching got so bad that i was bledding. Menthol creams only provide temporary relief.This brand of Capzasin cream takes a little while to act so it is best to apply when you first sense the oncoming itch. It has a burning sensation which, ironically, is so much better than having the itching sensationOther brands are a little watery so I like this one the best.

I purchased this because my dr recommended it. I wish I didn’t ignore the bad reviews. This was a bad purchase. I put this on foot in the morning and in 1hr was limping because of the burn. It felt like someone smashed a ghost pepper and rubbed on my foot. After washing my foot and then taking a shower before bed I still feel the burning sensation. I wanted to prove the bad reviews wrong but I wish I had listened and now I can’t return it.

Pefect for need price was high

I have some pretty intense joint pain at times and the reviews for this stuff were great so I got some. And I was so mad. I put it on and noticed nothing. The minutes went by and I got more and more annoyed. I sat down and started to write out a scathing review, full of fury. Right as I went to hit submit I felt a tingle. I assumed that was all I was going to get. I was so wrong. Within a few minutes my skin was ablaze like I'd poured honey on myself and sat directly on a fire ant mound. IT WORKED. When the other reviews state that a little bit goes a long way they are *not joking*. I used way too much. But I'll handle the burn and learn for next time. All the stars, 10/10, perfect.

Muscle pain disappears shortly after application of cream...No extreme odor... If pain returns, simply wetting the area with water starts relief all over again.

The tube dispensed Capsaicin is much more effective than the roll on. The roll on is all I saw in stores when I looked a while back, so I'm getting these tubes from Amazon now.
