Great taste, amazing quality!
Ingredients:100% Natural Mountain Tea.Impressions:Premium product that contains only Leaves and Flowers.Amazing aroma and taste.Well dried, you can see the herbs properly preserved.Thick packaging that gives adequate protection. The tea is delivered in a resealable bag with all the necessary information printed on the front and back. According to this, the tea consists of 100% mountain tea. The tea is not flavored and contains no preservatives or colorings. Fortunately, the existing organic certification provides information about a high quality cultivation. It is a tea made from the Greek mountain herbs, which has been drunk for centuries and which is said to have a soothing effect against colds, digestive problems and other ailments. In order to infuse the tea optimally, water with a temperature of 100 ° Celsius should be added to two tablespoons per pot. There are different opinions about the brewing time. I recommend letting the tea steep in about five minutes. Then it unfolds its optimal aroma. The tea tastes like herbs and leaves a slight sweetness. In general, the infusion works very well with the great, coarse cut quality. Conclusion:The TrofoPlan Greek Sideritis Mountain Tea is of outstanding quality and has a full-bodied taste. The price of £14.02 for 120 grams is comparatively fair. I can fully recommend this tea.

A bulky herbal tea that taste surprisingly good.
As someone who drinks a lot of different teas and infusions I was excited to try this Mountain Tea (also called Ironwort) as it comes with a huge amount of health benefits. It’s been used as a herbal medicine for thousands of years to help boost the immune system, fight colds and flu like systems and to help with anxiety, just to name a few. It’s also an excellent source of iron, vitamin C and antioxidants. This Mountain Tea comes in a large plastic bag and is cut up into large pieces, with full flowers and leaves in it. On opening the bag I was hit by the strong floral/herb like smell which was pretty pleasant. There were no directions on how to brew this so I winged it a little.Because the pieces are so big I opted to use a tea maker/infusion pot as I didn’t think it would work well in my normal metal infuser. It would work well in a normal tea pot and then being poured through a strainer as well. I let it sit for a couple minutes and tried it but it was still very weak so I left it for around another 10 minutes to steep in the water. On tasting it I was really surprised at how nice it tasted. It’s somewhere between peppermint and chamomile but a little sweeter than both. It’s something that you could probably add a little sugar too or even honey if you have a sweet tooth. It was really easy to drink and an enjoyable cup tea.Overall I’m really happy with the way this tea comes and with how it tastes, and if you enjoy herbal teas (and the benefits that come with them) I’d definitely recommend it.

Dictionary example of "bland"...
Something must be wrong with me here, because as a lover of "leafy", "herbal" and "green" teas, this was a rather disappointing experience...The smell is... interesting. It's herbal, but not one I could easily describe. It's different for sure. The taste is bland and uninspiring. You can add sugar, honey, sweetener, maple syrup... nope, still bland. I had to drink a different brand of tea afterwards to make sure my tastebuds still function well! This isn't very energising or revitalising or anything, really, and it didn't give me "a nice, warm cuppa" feel that I'm so used to with my favourite teas. Still better than drinking a cup of still water, but I'm not a fan of this tea, that is certain. Oh, it also comes double wrapped in plastic, when the main package is thick and sturdy enough not to tear easily, so that's another thing I dislike.Overall, mediocre 3*. Now, off to make a nice cup of matcha...

The best mountain tea I've had so far. I would highly recommend it for its health benefits.
I wanted this tea because of its many health benefits. It is very rich in ferrum. It is also rich in theine, so can be drank in the morning insted of coffee. This tea looks like premuim quality, I had mountain tea before from a different brand and this one looks and tastes much better. These teas are sold under a few different names including shepards tea. It also has its story as was given to soldiers during wars in ancient times.I prepared it in a cafeteria.I added 2 very full tablespoons of the tea to the jug, added freshly boiled water and brewed it for 10 minutes. The tea had a yellowish/greenish colour which depends on how long it is brewed for.The tea taste a bit like a linden tea to me, but the taste is more defined with a bit of nutty/spice aftertaste.Very pleasent taste, so can be drunk on its own, but I also found it tasty with a bit of honey.I also used the same tea again, but added half the water, it was still good just milder. This tea arrived packed in a resealable plastic bag with 120g of tea in it.It has a very long best before date - until the end of 2024.It could be also used in the kitchen as a spice for some mediterranean dishes.I would highly recomment it as this tea is of excellent quality, tastes good and might help with healing of wounds, boost immune system, prevent cold, flu, anemia, asthma, urinary tract infection, improves digestive system and lowers blood pressure. It also has anti-bacterial and anti - inflammatory properties and many, many more.I guess it has to be drunk on a regular basis to notice its benefits. The best mountain tea I've had so far.
