Whats not to LOVE?
Eclat De Saphir in 100ML bottle... fantastic... Wonderful. Love this color. Its the first ink in ALL of my fountain pens. Whether it J. Herbin or Just 'Herbin' its still great ink.

High quality ink. Beware of winter temps
Anyone buying this knows what it is. Just be aware that freezing temps may make an inky mess. This is not the shipper’s fault. Looks like they added additional packaging to minimize issues. At the end, I probably lost 10 ml. The mess was mostly contained in the packaging and nothing left the Amazon box. An outstanding value. That’s why I am still giving it 5 stars.

Hard Flow ink
I thought Herbin inks are smooth flow, but this one is not. it's hard flow and will take more pressure to write.

Nice, standard blue; nothing exceptional
This ink is a pleasant shade of medium blue that looks like the standard colour I've seen in fountain pens most of my life.I did not see any purple or violet undertones, or indeed undertones of any other colour. I must admit I am disappointed. I was seduced by the French "Eclat de Saphir", which I translate as something like "Sapphire Radiance", "Radiant Saphire" or "Glowing Sapphire", or "Sapphire Glow". With such a name I was hoping for something really extraordinary, rather like some of the many pictures I saw of this ink in multiple different listings.Yes. I do realise that it is common for inks to lose the brilliance they display in the bottle when wet and seen through glass (another disappointment -- this bottle is a dull plastic, not the nice glass containers smaller quantities of J. Herbin's ink come in.) Once an ink that looks saturated when first laid down dries, it commonly turns lighter and often duller. But there were so MANY pictures of this ink looking as if it would live up to its name in terms of glow, variety of tones and radiance. I would never have invested nearly $25 in a leaky plastic bottle of plain, generic blue ink had I not over-romanticised the colour. Sigh.Next time I will follow my usual instincts and return to purchasing a sample size before going to a large size. And this is a large quantity of ink which should last me a long time.I'm just sad that the leaking cap, cheap plastic container and insipid colour are so completely lacking in magic.

Good packing = Safe delivery!
Carefully and deeply packed in bubble pack and Kraft paper, thus no risk of breakage. A wonderful fountain pen ink color. Thank you!

Nice!
I bought 100 ml of ink. I didn't even know they sold it in that large denomination. So glad these folks sell it!

The bottle looks like it's been decanted
The bottle I got does not look like the bottle in the photo. It looks like 30ml has been decanted from the bottle. Disappointing.
