Nice economy stethoscope.
Dixie Ems Sprague Rappaport Dual Head Stethoscope Black Tubing with Gold Plating.I ordered this stethoscope as an addition to our emergency medical equipment. I’ll agree with a couple of other reviewers that this unit has a lot of bling, and over the top presentation. We tried it out and it works, but isn’t as sensitive as we would like. I’m not sure this would be appropriate for a medical professional, but as a budget stethoscope or for emergency situations it seems fine. I like that it has the extra ear buds and diaphragms, that is a plus. I think that for $13, it’s a great economy stethoscope that is functional. I’m happy with this purchase.

Horrible earpieces - very uncomfortable.
I ordered these for home use and I was not impressed. First, the hard plastic earpieces, and alternate pair, are very uncomfortable. My ears hurt for at least 10 minutes after using. I’ve used stethoscopes before, so I have an idea of what to expect. The heartbeat sound is very faint compared to what I am use to. I tried both the Large Diaphragm and Small Diaphragm as well as the bell attachments, but received the same weak sounds. The gold color makes this stethoscope look like a cheap toy in my opinion. The metal is a good weight, but the performance was lacking. This stethoscope feels pretty durable, but I’m still not impressed. The instructions are not the best, especially for someone without a medical background.I would not order this product again and would likely not recommend to friends and family.

Nice!
Nice, high-quality stethoscope. Durable, and well-designed. Easy to use, and accurate. Good value for the price.

Works as intended
Well built and rugged enough for everyday use. Not the most comfortable on my ears. Makes my ear feel tender and sore.

Did not work at all.
This is cheap and a waste. I was not happy with this purchase at all. The material was not quality, the stethoscope did not yield any reasonable results. It was a waste of my money and time. Do not waste like I did. There is no quality here!

The bling factor is off the charts.
This Dixie Ems Sprague Rappaport Dual Head Stethoscope from the Dixie EMS Store on Amazon seems like excellent quality, although I'm no expert. It comes with black tubing and gold plating, which makes it jump out visually. In the listing photos one picture shows black clips on the tubing, another photo shows gold clips on the tubing. The one I received has bare metal (silver) clips on the tubing. The head has two listening platforms, and you have to rotate it for each to work, otherwise you won't be able to hear from one. I do thing the head is heavy, and wonder it that would be a negative for a professional using it all day. You might want to bend the u-shaped spring between the ear pieces to lessen the tension. I guess it might depend on the size of your head, but I have a large head and it felt like a clamp on my ears.Looking at stethoscopes on Amazon, prices are all over the place, but none have the bling this one has, and I wouldn't be surprised if it sparked some conversations about it.

The ear pieces need to be scrapped.
Everything about this stethoscope is great... except for the ear pieces. They are very hard on your ears!If you getting this set, which comes with extras, you definitely will want to get a nicer set of ear pieces for comfort. The tubing also twists when you flip the head of the stethoscope around, which was annoying for my husband. If neither of these things I am issue for you then I'd go for this hands down for presentation and having extras, but if your looking for comfort for you ears you'll definitely want an upgrade!
