pro quality
Speakon connectors are mostly used on only high-powered pro sound equipment, which is exactly where cheap connectors and adaptors will not be tolerated. A loose wire on a concert PA cabinet could screw up an entire performance. These humble little adapters will perform like the big guys, doing their tiny- but really, really important job like real pros. I bought several and have faith that when the rock and roll gets rockin' and rollin', they will do the job for me!

As intended
The adapter fits my amp (Speakon) as needed and then the banana plugs work for the speaker cables I have already installed, so quite the labor saver.

These are NL4 connectors
Despite these having one pair of outputs each, these use NL4 connectors which are not compatible with NL2 sockets. They seem like good quality though.

Designed well
I liked the fact that it works well with banana plugs. Loose wires are not a good idea. Stake ons or banana plugs.

Everything you're looking for until you open it up and find out they glued all the screws in place.
The internal screws for wiring to 1+, 1-, 2+, 2- are GLUED in place. This destroys the entire point of getting SpeakOn. Why? Why do this? Ugh.

Life savers
These adapter have saved me on more then one occasion. Having the flexibility to quickly cut, clip and adapt allows me to hook-up and connect to anything quickly.

Bigger than regular speakon
I purchased these for use on a Behringer EP4000 amp. They went in east enough but were so tight that trying to get them to lock started to make the actual PCB input board on the amp buckle.Trying to get them out took me 10 minutes and a towel w pliers as they would not rotate back and come out.I’m returning these in favor of DIYing my own version of these using regular NEUTRICK brand 4 pole speakons (which I know work with no problems on my amp) and some binding posts terminals. My version will cost me more but I can customize the length and speaker wire gauge to my liking. The phrase “You get what you pay for” comes to mind.
