I suffer from joint pain and recently underwent surgery on my hip. Wanting to find a natural way to ease pain and maintain joint health, I began researching glucosamine and chondroitin.Chondroitin is a naturally occurring substance formed of sugar chains. Chondroitin is believed to help the body maintain fluid and flexibility in the joints. Glucosamine is sugar protein that helps your body build cartilage (the hard connective tissue located mainly on the bones near your joints). Glucosamine is a naturally occurring substance found in bones, bone marrow, shellfish and fungus. Chondroitin and glucosamine is a combination product that has been used in alternative medicine as a possibly effective aid in treating osteoarthritis pain. Other uses requiring additional research have included treating rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, cataracts, glaucoma, bladder problems, heart disease, high cholesterol, or tmj. I was excited to try this supplement and needed a vegetarian version since it is typically derived from shellfish and I have recently developed an adult onset allergy to it. I have taken this supplement for about a month and have noticed less stiffness and pain in my joints. I also do not have the fatigue I generally experience after spending all day on my feet in the classroom. Overall I am very pleased with this product and it's value.

I am not able to see the diffrences of usng glucosamine or not. May be vegi tablets are Less potency. Manufacturer may like to reply

I have had two back surgeries and have a steady supply of pain pills; however, since taking this and a regiment of supplements that consist of Omega 3's (3x a day), Boron 3mg (4-5x a day)and Jigsaw Magnesium srt 4 pills a day. My back pain is pretty much gone, which is hard to believe, as I have been dealing with pain for years, from it. I can't tell you the last time I took a narcotic pill for back pain. Several months at least! It has also helped with knee and elbow pain. And the best thing is there are no side effects from taking all these supplements. I have read over the years of people taking this and never really gave it much thought or felt like their pain wasn't as bad as mine and that there was no way these would work on my particular pain....but I was wrong. I am a believer now.It did take about 3 weeks for me to notice a difference, so don't expect an overnight difference and I really thing you need to be taking more than just these...fwiw.

I buy this supplement for my husband, he’s not young (33y.o.) and has arthritis, he said that he was feeling more pain while taking this supplement comparing to other so I don’t know. I won’t order this again and gonna try something else
