Exceptional flavor.
The taste is quite a bit like Apple Pie liquor without the sugar or the harshness of the alcohol. I would actually recommend this to diabetics aching for the taste of hot apple cider but are perhaps avoiding it due to the sugar.

Strong artificial flavor, received expired product
I received a product that expired in March of 2025 during May 2025. Including a photo of the English Language sticker showing expiration date. Really, it is tea so that doesn't matter the same way it would for dairy or something...still...I think it would have been more appropriate to sell this in a pallet for the bin store and flea market vendors than to ship it to a paying customer!I purchased this to give as a mother's day gift. She tried it and said it it tastes "funky and weird." So I ended up keeping it.Basically you'll either like this tea/ brand of tea or hate it. My opinion is that any of the flavors I have tried from this brand are what I wish celestial seasonings would be. This brand has no caffeine yet features herbal and fruit content. It is naturally very sweet, and with a strong flavor. I like the flavors. It is one that I can make in a large coffee mug and it gets better the longer it sits in hot water. Personally I don't pour boiling water over anything but true black tea. For this, I boil the water in an electric kettle and wait a couple minutes after it stops boiling. Maybe 80° C.I do like this tea. It seems almost indulgent compared to some of the medical type of teas I make myself drink. I don't need extra sweetener or cream to make this palatable, but there is a weird artificial flavor that all the teas from this brand have. This apple pie tea is worse for this artificial flavor than some of the other styles by Teekanne. If you already drink any kind of diet drinks (like diet soda or the flavored seltzer waters) you will probably be ok with the artificial flavor in this tea and consider it actually tastes way better than most diet drinks on the market. But, if you're a tea purist, you might not like it.The teabags are individually wrapped in paper. They have tags. They are traditional paper teabags, so no micro plastic worries. They are a good quality design. As for the value for the price, I have not been to Germany for a long time, but I do remember this brand from grocery stores. It was one near eye level, and not the cheapest offering. So if you can catch it on sale off Amazon, then it is probably priced about right.I will give it 4 stars because the original recipient absolutely hated it, plus the whole expired product issue. And, overall, Teekanne makes other similar teas that taste better than this one.

Smooth and comforting
This herbal tea is comforting and tasty. It's mellow and smooth, but also sweet and cozy. I really like this blend. This would also be a good tea for someone who wants the health benefits of ingredients like hibiscus and rosehips, but doesn't have the overwhelming flavor and tartness they usually do. It tastes like apple pie instead!

Not For Me
It's not a bad tea, but the caramel flavoring doesn't taste right to me in a tea. If it had just been "apple pie" flavor, I think I would have liked it better.

Weak
This is pretty bad tasteless stuff. The tea is old and expires in just a few months so maybe the lack of taste is due to age.

Delightful
I didn't really have high hopes, I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a great fall tea!

I used to hate tea
I have never liked tea. To me, it's just plant water. But this tea is so good that last night I tried to make a second cup with the same tea bag and even though it tasted mostly like water, I still enjoyed it. I'm sharing this product info with all my friends so they can see what I'm hyping about.
