A Dictionary of Economics

Whenever I buy books from Amazon the print quality is not very good, as is the case with this dictionary, or there are other defects as seen in the picture. The page was torn where it had not been bound or cut properly (rejected at quality control) but yet somehow has found itself being sold on Amazon. The same quality problems occur in other products too. Unfortunately I had to get a refund.The actual dictionary content, however, is good. Concise definitions are given. There's not a lot of mathematics given in the definitions and explanations though; maths & statistics use within economics is sadly kept at a minimum.Overall I bought a dictionary but got a lemon.

Ordered this on Tuesday as I have exams coming up and with doing an economics degree, this dictionary is exactly what I need to explain some of the terminology. It arrived on Friday and I have to praise the quick delivery and the fact that I was able to track the item was a bonus as I was out of the house and my dad was able to collect the item as he was in the house at that time.Also the price was great. Exact same book at Waterstones priced at £12 and on here I managed to get it for £9 with delivery.

This is a great reference book. Period.

Very good for someone who learnt global economics and macro economics when he was student in London. Easy to learn and understand as all terms are well explained.
