Bought as a wedding gift for my husband to be, beautiful, but disappointed that there is no certificate as to what it is and its authenticity

Nice looking pen …. But!
Nib a bit scratchy. Ink refused to come through the nib the next day.At over £150 and a prestige make I expected more.
