Ecco Men's Fusion II Slip-On Loafer

My husband has been wearing the Ecco Fusion Slip-on for many years, just now replaced by the Fusion II which has only a slight difference the the design of the tread on the sole. He's had them in both brown and black and we just replaced the black pair yesterday with this new pair. He inserts Powerstep orthotics for plantaer fasceitis, and the size 43 (9-9.5) are a perfect fit. Always comfortable, enables him to stand and walk for long hours. At this time, he's recovering from back surgery and wears them to his PT sessions instead of sneakers. They're that comfortable, and slip-proof. It's hard to find them on sale other than odd size that are either very small or large, but the $170 price is an excellent value considering how well they wear and how much comfort they provide. Highly recommended.

I gave this shoe two stars because the shoes indeed look very nice. I listed them as being somewhat small. But the truth is they just have a truly lousy overall fit and feel while on my feet. I returned the first for being too large. Then I got the next smaller size and it just didn't fit or feel right. No need to get another pair, so I returned them for refund. I would simply say that people who are thinking about ordering this shoe should not be surprised if they fit differently than many other Ecco shoes, and if they fit and feel like nothing they have experienced before. Oh, and I can say for sure the the shoes fit about a half to full size larger than they should for the stated size. Why can't shoe manufacturers have the same shoe sizes within their own lines of shoes? And the same should be true with all shoes. There are standard sizes, but shoes are made with little reference to the standard sizes that they purport to represent.

I have two pairs of Fusion 1's that have been very comfortable and durable. The Fusion 2 shoes I received did not fit as well and were not comfortable, so returned them and ordered the fusion 1's. The sizes are euro., so you will want one or two sizes smaller than normal US

Fast delivery. Was not certain about the European size since i live in the united states. I have size 9 feet. I bought these for working as a houseman in a large four star hotel. Im on my feet for 7.5 hours a day at work. These shoes are comfortable all day. These shoes are light on my feet and my feet dont sweat due to plenty of air circulation. I live in Texas. It was 101 degrees outside and my feet still did not sweat while walking 20 minutes outside in 101 degree sunshine weather. Im amazed. I had a pair of ecco track 2 low which were very heavy but also very durable and comfortable. This appears to be a very good deal. If i buy these again i will try the next lower european size. So instead of size 43 i will try size 42 for my size 9 American feet. Im happy with these shoes and its fun getting useful stuff in the mail.

Sorry, I so wish I could give these shoes 5 stars like so many other viewers. Here's why: the length is perfectly fine for my small feet. The toes extend just less than the allotted foot space like most shoes, but the top around the elastic strands and tongue, are way too tight. My feet are killing me after just about 1 hour of wearing them. And no, I do not have abnormally shaped feet.On the other hand, the shoes look great. I'm going to figure out a way to stretch them open, maybe even by cutting the elastic strands. I can't return them, since they felt fine walking around a bit on my living room carpet, but I've worn them now out on the streets, so I'm stuck with them.
