Loud enough and doesn't heat up
Good product especially for the price. It is loud enough for my purpose. Downside is that there is no tone adjustment only gain. So your source needs to be properly equalized. I mistakenly connected to 18v so it smoked hahaha. But still it works. Great purchase indeed.

Need rca splitter
Easy installation, instructions were clear and yes need a rca splitter cable if your radio only has two preamp connections... Installed on my boat and while cruising on my bow rider sound was loud enough for me ..Qnly has gain control not much sound adjustment but my radio has treble..bass adjustments to help.. overall for the price so far works great.. Time will tell about longevity of unit...

Great product out of the box
I haven’t installed it yet(December with snow in the ground) but for the price point and previous reviews, how could you go wrong. The quality so far out of the packaging is great. I have used Pyle products before and did very well. I would give a 5 star, but haven’t tried the amp yet.

Very low power.
Didn't cost much but I should know you get what you pay for.

The amp is great, and the customer service is fine, but the repair policy SUCKS!
This is the second one of these I've owned. Full disclosure, I completely drowned the other one in a freak accident (it is definitely NOT waterproof or water resistant), but because the reviews were so good, I bought a second one without any hesitation. I put this into a float cooler and WOW! I have this pushing 2x Infinity 6x9 waterproof speakers and it roars to the point where you can't stand in front of it and expect to hear anything except the music, and that was on 2/3 power. The power was consistent and the music was crystal clear. We ran it for about 14 hours and although it got hot inside the cooler, we opened the lid to let it breathe and it cooled right down. We used it three weekends in a row, and it got to the point where the cooler had a reputation for the power sound quality, etc. Fast forward to this past weekend, and although I should have done a sound check before we left the house, we got to the river and.... nothing. Not a peep, not a pop, dead air. I found a screw driver and dug it out and there is no power. I've tested the battery output and it's pushing strong, so the problem is in the amp. I'm going to send it back and hopefully Pyle will graciously say, "my bad" or something to that effect and send me another one. I'll update once I hear back from them.Update: After sending it off to Pyle to get fixed, they sent it back about 7-10 days later with a note indicating they had repaired a diode. I hooked it back up and it appears to be (and sounds) as good as new. Consequently, I've upgraded my review from 2 stars to 3 stars because although the amp runs well. But, I'm not ready to give it more stars because I've paid $101 for a product that started at $58 (you pay for shipping for all repairs which cost $43 total). As with anything, if you make enough of them, you're going to get a lemon every once in a while, so I won't avoid Pyle products per se, but I might go with a different company if they have a better shipping policy for repairing their products that are under warranty.3 Year Update: I've been running this thing in a float cooler and the power and consistency is impressive. The power is clean and the sound roaring out of the Infinity 6x9s keeps the river jumping. Most other people on the river will shut their stereos off because they can't compete with this beast. I'm about to upgrade my river cooler so I need a different amp, and this guy is going into my car to power a sub. I'll update once it finally keels over. And because it's run so well for so long, I'm upgrading my review from 3 stars to 4.
