I must be one of the most fussy sock people on the planet. I can't wear socks that make my feet sweaty, socks that are too tight on my calfs or so loose that they don't stay up. They must be thick enough not to be dress socks but not heavy boot socks and they certainly must not have seams inside.These Vans are incredibly made for me. I love them, early days but I love them. I wore a pair at home and then decided to give them a bashing in my steel toed work boots for 14 hours. The result was: I got home and ordered some more. They never needed to be pulled up but also never felt restrictive. Although thinner than my work socks, they still felt adequate enough that I'm trading my usual work CAT socks for these Vans. I'm also going to be using them for normal day wear which is perfect for my shoes or Timberlands. I've ordered 6 grey pairs for working in and 6 black pairs for normal day wear. I do have some Stance socks still to review but they are far more expensive but these Vans are amazing value if they stand the test of time.I'm a size 10 to 10.5 and these fit really well. When I pull them on snug, the heel stays on my heel, not up my leg.Highly recommended and the price is really good for 3 pairs of quality socks

About 10 years ago I found a pack of 10 pairs (PAIRS ! Yes 20 socks) for about £2.00 - so only 10p per sock and boy did I feel smug about my purchase. I was disappointed when after about 30 washes each (3 years) these socks wen floppy around the ankle and kept falling down around my ankles. Serves me right for being such a cheapskate to buy those dirt cheap socks...So about a year ago (bitterly regretting my purchases every time I put on the cheap floppy socks) , I splashed out on these 'quality' sports socks - £2.15 PER SOCK! And here I am, a year later (no longer cycling to work, barely wearing the new socks) AND THEY HAVE LOST THEIR ELASTICITY AROUND THE ANKLES ! So I paid 21 times as much per sock but they are now just as disappointing to wear after a year.TLDR: buy cheap socks (not these)

I wonder if one pack is genuine and the other not? I rated them as 5 stars when they arrived but it was only after they were washed that I realised there was a big difference between the two packs. One pack is much longer and fits better. The other shorter pack already has a hole at the seam after being worn just once. I loved these socks at first but now I don't. Think I'll go back to my other brand.

These appeared good quality but are clearly fake. They bobble after first wear and you end up with black bits everywhere. They are also to narrow. I could barely get them over my feet.They dont sit right on the toaes either.Really bad buy.

You will not find comfier socks. Perfect fit. Padded on the sole. Nice length. Not too tight or lose. Do not shrink much at all after first wash. I have 16 pairs! I would 100% recommend.
